Beautiful! Emily's photos of the work and example of the size were perfect - the drawing is exactly what I expected it to be and I'm thrilled to have this wonderful piece of art. You can tell Emily loves what she does! Emily was also great to work with. She responded quickly to questions and offered help/suggestions, making the entire buying process a pleasure. I look forward to purchasing from her again.

Oh my, I'm so honored to be the first to leave feedback for Emily. Wonderful, fantastic, fabulous, incredible! How many characters do I have in this feedback form?! I ran across Emily's shop on Etsy when she first opened . I believe I linked to her from a etsy team we were on together. At any rate, I was instantly taken with her charcoal nudes. I featured this print I purchased in my first treasury, admired her work and frequently checked back with her site. I couldn't afford to order one of my favorites in original drawing and when I saw her start making sales (my favorites ones at that!) I just had to go ahead and at least order a print of my absolute favorite. It has arrived just today - much more quickly than I had anticipated and packaged very carefully. I'm so thrilled to have even a print of this amazing artist's work. I believe you will be as well. If Emily's work moves you and speaks to you at some level, for goodness sakes get it in your home! My gratitude girl will hang on my wall to remind me of life's gifts and my gratitude flows to Emily for this wonderful reminder! Thanks so much, Emily. Hugs, Maxy;)

Losing it and finding it.

Creating is my necessary outlet and my passion. It is where I let my anger, sadness, frustration, love, and happiness flow. I cannot express like I do on canvas and paper.

My work tends to focus on two things. First is the human form. I am fascinated with the body, face, and the shape and movement of skin. I love bodies that are not perfect; they have lumps bumps, folds, and wrinkles. I find people of different shapes and sizes to be interesting and unique. To me, this is beauty. Secondly, I enjoy playing with light and dark and finding beauty in the world around me. Sometimes that means a small flower, an old wooden wheel, the mountains, or a simple child’s play toy.

I hope to create works of art that viewers not only enjoy looking at, but that also inspires themselves.
