We are a Direct Importer- an American importer of beads manufactured in the Czech Republic, Germany, Philippines, Hong Kong, Turkey, Zimbabwe and where ever else our travels take us.

We have been in business since 1982, starting off in the arts and crafts industry, selling at flea markets, craft fairs, church fetes art shows, and Quartzsite- Arizona, and had a Bead Store; before specializing in glass beads, first as a retail establishment, then in 1998 as an import warehouse.
Our goal is to find factories that are small cottage industry hiring family members and a few others to help us with designing of our beads and buttons.

Not only do we order and purchase beads from the factory sample charts, but we also have custom make colors and shapes, re – introducing vintage beads that haven’t been made in a while, and creating new shapes of beads using mold makers who specialize in beads.

Examples of the beads we offer from Europe:
Pressed fancy shapes such as: ammonites, trilobites, ladybugs, tennis shoes, fish, faceted bicones, squares, druks, cathedrals, window beads, faceted round beads called fire polish, lampwork beads (which are handmade one bead at a time on a torch), and metalized seed beads with a facet, known as charlotte cuts, made in gold, silver, copper and marcasite.
As well as the glass beads, we also imports crystal prisms and beautiflu handmade and handpainted buttons.
also we have found Turkish eyes.........

From Asia we go to the Philippines, Thailand and Hong Kong where we find beautiful wood beads, Pearls, Hills Tribe Silver, rhinestone, abalone & mother of pearl buttons; as well as stone beads and cabachons.
