Definitely should have checked the measurements as this was smaller than I thought but perfect for a gift card. Well made and very cute.
How Wild Thyme Threads Got Its Name
When my boys were young we would have fun crafting together, especially for the holidays. I would help their teachers in the classroom when students were working on art projects. I continued to dabble in crafting after my boys grew up. Quilting caught my attention after watching a quilting TV show back in 2000. I bought my first-ever Bernina sewing machine (it's awesome!), took a few quilting classes and sewed up a bunch of small projects. I found I enjoyed cutting, piecing, and sewing together fabric pieces creating shapes and patterns... "from nothing into something."
I have this "thing" with fabric... I love it! I enjoy searching through quilt shops for the latest release in a fabric collection. I run my fingers across the fabric bolts lined up along the shelves, feeling the crispness of each new bolt of woven threads, eyeing colors and textures, imagining what new project they could be used in. After making my purchase, I take my bag of newly cut fabric lovelies home, run the yardage through a quick wash, and after being ironed and folded, they're stacked, ready and waiting to be used in a new sewing project.
Spending time collecting fabrics for a project, spying new fabric and being inspired to sew it into something fabulous is what I enjoy doing. I'm just a simple gal having a wild and crazy time sewing things together! So that's how "Wild Thyme Threads" got its name.
All products at Wild Thyme Threads are 100% Handmade in the USA in a smoke-free home, packaged & shipped by me. Some creations are my own & some are from purchased patterns I've received permission to sell, giving credit to the pattern designer.
