A Passion for Creating Beauty!

Fifteen or so years ago, I began to collect beautiful artisan lampwork beads simply because I loved them. In time, the beads took on a life of their own and started coming to me in dreams, showing me how they were meant to be put together into earrings, bracelets and necklaces. I took this as a sign that it was time to ease out of the business of counseling clients and into the business of making beauty.

Working on simple projects where making beauty was the objective (rather than selling or marketing my work), I re-discovered joy, color, fun and, well, whimsy.

Beading became a meditation and, in many ways, a spiritual practice. My spirit was lighter, my life filled with more grace, tranquility, peace and serenity.

For a long time I worked quietly and privately at developing as an artist. One piece sold here, another there, and soon others were following my journey from therapist to artist. Not only was I counseling women and men who wanted to make fearless career leaps, but I was making my own creative leap of faith as well.

Fifteen years later, my life as an artist has truly taken wing. Oh, I still love working with clients, teaching, gardening and all the other ways I make beauty come alive in the world around me. I have a versatile and interesting life. But creating the wearable elegant bohemian jewelry art of Wild Woman Beads seems like my destiny, and I am grateful to have found it.

Returns and exchange details
If, for some reason, you're unhappy with your purchase, you may return it within 14 days in its original pristine condition for a full refund. I'll refund you upon my receipt of the item.

If an item is not in pristine condition when you receive it (if a bead has been broken during shipping, which has never happened, but just in case...), I will either repair the item at my cost to ship, or I'll refund you. Please send a photo of the damaged item along with your request for repair or refund. I'd also allow an exchange for another item of similar value, so please discuss this with me until we find an acceptable solution to any kind of problem. Again, this has never happened, but I want you to be fully informed about my exchange policies.

I make beautiful jewelry and work just as hard to have happy customers. I certainly want you to be one of them!
I accept payment via Paypal or direct checkout with a credit card. Payment is expected on purchase of item. Once payment is cleared, items will be shipped.

Custom orders require 50% down when you place an order. This allows me to purchase materials for that one of a kind piece you have ordered.

I live in a no-tax state so taxes will never be added to your purchase.
You will receive email confirmation of your purchase when you complete the checkout process. I'll mail your ready made item(s) within 3-5 days after receipt of payment. I live in snow and ice country so, occasionally, it will take me the full 5 days to get to a post office. Most of the time, I'm able to ship within a 1-3 day window.

Custom items may well take longer to ship, as I may have to order beads and supplies to make your item, and must wait until the artisans ship their supplies to me. I'll do my best to let you know in advance what that custom order wait might be.

I ship USPS first class mail with delivery confirmation so I can track your item on its way to you.

I also ship internationally except (at the moment) to the EU. I promise to open that back up once I fully understand what compliance with the GDPR involves. If you purchase an item to be shipped outside the US, please email me to discuss shipping methods and costs; you may know the most cost effective way to ship to your country better than I do.

All international custom and duty fees levied are the responsibility of the buyer.

Please let me know if your need your item(s) quickly and prefer to pay a priority mail rate, or prefer to pay the cost of another service such as FedEx or UPS.
Additional policies and FAQs
Every one of my pieces is handmade by me in my little studio, so no two items will ever be identical. Isn't that the beauty of handmade pieces? Absolutely! And every computer monitor shows color slightly differently, so please allow for some slight variations from what you see in the photo.

I try very hard to photograph each piece in a natural light that showcases how it truly looks when worn.
