    I purchased this item on June 28th. On August 8th, I sent the seller an email asking the status of the shipping. After receiving no response, I filed a case with Etsy. As of the writing of this review, I have not received the item and have not received a response from the seller.

    I love the doorstop! I've had a terrible time with this door - it's an 80-year old office building. So not only does the door drift shut on its own, it's too high off the ground for a normal doorstop from the hardware store. This doorstop is STRONG - and beautiful! I love the brand on the bottom, which indicates that it was made in St. Louis (yea, local!). And it perfectly blends in with the hardwood floor in my office. Thanks, Cora!

On a practical note, please be assured that we will not accept any order that we cannot fulfill and we will not cancel a sale for any reason other than nonpayment. All of our in-stock listings are currently available and awaiting shipment, so you are assured of receiving exactly the item you purchased in a timely fashion. Custom orders and Alchemy requests receive personalized attention and will ship at the agreed-upon time.

Also, we are working hard to make shipping less expensive. We're in the process of having custom boxes designed that should dramatically reduce shipping costs, and we will be switching over to them as soon as they're available. In the meantime, please contact us with any questions about shipping. Based on your actual address we may be able to reduce the quoted shipping cost.

We are always happy to answer questions, be they about our product line, our custom services or our policies. Our relationships with clients, past, present and future, are vitally important to us so please don't hesitate to contact us! We want to hear from you.

Returns and exchanges
All orders receive individual attention to packaging details and should arrive in perfect condition. If a shipment is damaged in transport, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange for its return or exchange.

In all other cases, please email in order to arrange a return or exchange. You will be given a Return Authorization Number and can then ship the package back to us, preferably in its original packaging. If the original packaging is unavailable, the shipment should be carefully packed to avoid damage during shipping. Items that sustain damage during return shipment cannot be fully refunded.

If you have requested a return, a credit for the purchase price plus the original shipping amount less a 5% restocking fee will be processed via the purchase payment method upon receipt of the returned item. If you have requested an exchange, it will ship out within two business days of receipt of the returned item. If you have special circumstances that require other terms, please let us know and we will do what we can to help.
A Paypal invoice will be sent out after each order, providing all the information you need for payment. Our workshop is in Missouri, so Missouri purchasers will see a 7.925% sales tax included on their invoice.

We happily accept personal checks, money orders and Paypal payments. Payment is due within 2 days of placing your order for in-stock items. Payment schedules for custom orders are structured at the time of the order, and will generally take the form of 50% at time of order and 50% prior to shipment. If payment is not made in a timely fashion, we reserve the right to cancel the sale and relist the item after attempting to contact you. We would rather not do that, though, so please let us know if you require more time and we can certainly help with that.

If you need to cancel an order please let us know as soon as possible. If payment has not yet been made, the order can be cancelled at the time of your request. If payment has been made but the item has not yet shipped, the sale can be cancelled and your payment will be refunded. If the item has shipped a sale cannot be cancelled. It can, however, be returned under our Refund policy.

If there is more than one address associated with a sale, for example if your Etsy address doesn't match your Paypal address, or the address on your check, or the address you've emailed us as a shipping address, we will contact you to clarify the details so that we are sure your shipment is headed in the right direction.

We are private people, and we assume you are, as well. Your information will be held in the strictest of confidence and guarded as if it were our own.
In-stock orders will ship within two business days of cleared payment being received. Custom orders will ship in accordance with the delivery date established at the time the order is placed.

UPS Ground and USPS Parcel Post are the default shipping methods. Expedited shipping can be arranged; please contact us for services and rates.

Due to their unique sizes and packaging requirements it may not be possible to combine certain items in a single shipping carton. In that event, a shipping discount may still be available; please email for details.

Insurance is required on all shipments and is included in the shipping quote. We always attempt to quote actual shipping costs and don't believe in padding profits with inflated shipping charges. If you ever have a question about shipping policy, please just ask.

Gift Service:
We are ready and willing to ship gifts directly to the recipient. Please note that the purchase is a gift and provide us with the shipping address at the time of your order. We will confirm the details with you and get it sent off quickly.

Shipping Outside the Contiguous 48 States:
Residents of Alaska, Hawaii or any international destination are asked to email for shipping rates. International customers are responsible for any applicable customs and duties.
Additional policies and FAQs
About repairs. We want you to use everything we make. We are aware, that in some circumstances, this means your purchase will need a repair. No one is more qualified to repair our toys and furniture than we are, and no one is more interested in doing so, and that’s why we have set up a comprehensive repair shop.

If your toy or chair suffers an injury please contact us. In the case of the fabric component of any of our products, the UV resistant fabric can be replaced. Just contact us and we’ll let you know what colors are currently available for purchase as replacement pieces. If you’re more comfortable with sending in a chair to have a new back put on we can certainly do that as well. Repairs may involve parts fees or replacement costs, all of which will be clearly stated up front, and the repair will be set up as a custom order through Etsy. We are happy to be publicly accountable for providing repair service. No matter what happened, we can help!
