5 out of 5 starsAn absolutely beautiful dish that I will use almost constantly. This is a perfect example of elegance in form and finish. (And the packaging for shipping was stellar.)

About williambaker
Made with intention, made by hand, pottery for you to use
I started selling my pottery online in 2008. I love sharing my one of a kind creations with the world online. It helps me grow the audience for my work and I love knowing someone miles away is enjoying drinking coffee out of my handmade mugs, or eating dinner off of my plates. I create a wide range of wheel thrown decorative and functional pottery that is fired in a wood and soda kiln. The beautiful ranges of earth tones you see on my work comes from that type of firing process. I enjoy the quiet to dramatic variations I can obtain on each piece. Each piece is unique to the touch and the sight!

I've been making pots for the past 18 years and share my studio, Wood Song Pottery with my wife, also a potter, in Bakersville, NC. I love the process of working with my hands, the clay, and the wood firing process.

I take great care in the details of my work, and I hope you will enjoy your piece. Each one is completely handmade and unique as a result of the wood and soda firing process.
