My grandmother, Willo, tried to teach me to sew when I was 10. She helped me make my first ever dress and it was the first and last time I sewed until about 12 years ago. I was newly married and pregnant with our first child, a little girl. My first project was a ruffled skirt for her and my love of creating and sewing grew after making it. I loved being able to create one of a kind, unique items for her.

In 2017, I was able to quit my full time job as a child welfare worker to pursue my dream of making children's clothing. My husband was diagnosed with cancer in October 2018 and was unable to work so this shop became our sole source of income. In January 2021, he passed away and this shop continues to support my 2 children and I. I’m so very thankful for all the support I’ve received from my customers that help make it possible for me to be a small business owner and stay at home with my children. We are a homeschooling family and my children are beginning to take on small roles in the business such as ironing, cutting, packaging and even some smaller sewing projects, like our scrunchies.

I love what I do and feel so honored when a customer chooses one of my items for family pictures, special occasions, or just every day wear. My hope is to provide each customer with a unique and lovingly handmade item they will cherish and and pass down 💛
