About Us

Invitation and stationery design really caught my interest when designing my own wedding invitations. When the invitation creation process started, I realized how many options I had in front of me. With such an abundance of ideas, and the passion to do more, I decided to start my own business. Now I can offer my unique design style an added personal touch to your once-in-a-life time celebration. I currently live in Danbury, Connecticut with my husband Sean, our daughters Ruthie and Stella; and our cat and dogs, Chuck, Bela and Lily.

All of Willow Glen products are handcrafted and a one-of-a-kind design. I do all of the designing and assembly of my products. All 4-color printing is done on a professional digital printing press with select 2-color projects printed with a laser printer. It is also Willow Glens policy to be "Green" whenever I can. Orders are sometimes packed in used boxes and packing material. I also offer a full line of recycle card stock options in many colors for any stationery needs.

All of Willow Glen products are a one-of-a-kind design and personally created by Kelly. Buying handmade adds a personal touch and sets the tone for your special event. Besides beautiful stationery, our specialty is meeting your personal needs. Together we can make your vision come to life.

Since 2010, Willow Glen has been exceeding the expectations of our customers for all their stationery needs. It is always our mission to deliver superior customer service and personal care for each order. Every client is given one-on-one customer service and personal attention to detail.

It is Willow Glens policy to always be "Green" whenever we can. We offer a full line of recycled paper options in many colors for all your stationery needs. Also, orders are sometimes packed and shipped in reused boxes and packaging material. Every little bit helps save our environment.

We do all of the designing and assembly of our products. All 4-color printing is done on a professional digital printing press with select 2-color projects and envelopes printed with a laser printer.

{ PAYMENT }
Willow Glen currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover conveniently and securely through Etsy and PayPal (a PayPal account is not necessary). Payment must be made within 48 hours of invoice or the transaction will be canceled.

{ RUSH ORDERS: }
Invitation orders will be considered RUSHED if they are needed within a 2 week or less turnaround, and a week or less on other stationery products. Rush orders will be accepted depending on availability and the complexity of the project. A charge of 20% will be added to your order total. Rush orders are paid in full at the time the order is placed.
Shipping
{ SHIPPING: }
You will be notified when your order is ready and has shipped. All shipping and postage will be assumed by the client.

Standard shipping service is via USPS.
Samples and tags are shipped via 1st Class Mail (ship time, on average: 3-7 days). All large quantity orders (invitations, thanks you's, menu's, etc.) are ship via Priority Mail, which includes Insurance and Delivery Confirmation (ship time, on average: 2-3 days). If you prefer another shipping method, I am happy to accommodate. Hand-delivery may be possible to certain local Connecticut and New York areas.

While packages usually arrive much sooner, I allow the post office up to 2 weeks for domestic delivery and 6 weeks for international delivery before looking into nondelivery. Thank you for understanding. Please remember that shipping around the holiday season can be very unpredictable and Priority upgrades are recommended to ensure fast delivery times.

Note: International buyers are responsible for any and all custom charges, taxes and additional postal fees.

{ THE POST OFFICE: }
Mailing individual invitations usually incur additional postage based on their weight and size. Always take a finished invitation to your local post office and have them weigh it for you. They will provide you with the accurate postage needed before mailing.
Willow Glen is not responsible for individual invitations that are lost or destroyed through the mailing process.
Refunds and Exchanges
{ RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS: }
If I have not started on your project, your deposit may be refunded. Once work has started on your invitations, deposits are non-refundable. You are responsible for your deposit and any materials (paper, ribbon, etc.) that have been purchased. Because of the personalization of invitations and some stationery products, orders are non-refundable. I make every effort to assure your fully happy with the final product. If I have made an error, I will do my best to correct the situation to your satisfaction.

Due to the nature of my business, products may vary slightly from one to another since they are handcrafted and hand-assembled. I cannot accept returns based on color. I have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of my products that appear on my site. However, as the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor, I cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be accurate. Also, colors can change slightly on press, that is the nature of the printing business. However, I always approve color on press before your full print run to ensure accuracy. I may offer you replacements if you are not happy with your order. This will be based on a case by case scenario. Samples of most of my designs are available for purchase in my Etsy Store. This way you can see the colors, printing and paper quality in person.

{ PROOFING: }
It is very important that you thoroughly read your proofs prior to signing for approval. Once final approval is given, Willow Glen waives responsibility for any errors including typesetting, format, grammar, spelling, punctuation or otherwise. If you should choose to reprint after final approval is given, you will be responsible for all costs for production and printing.
Additional policies and FAQs
{ PRICING: }
To calculate the total cost of your order, just multiply the price per item/unit shown by the quantity you will need. A deposit is requested on most invitation and stationery items. A deposit is to cover any design time and supplies needed to start on your order. Deposits are non-refundable once any work has been started on your order. However, if work has not been started yet, and you need to cancel your order, I will be happy to refund your deposit. Any deposits will be deducted from your final order total — deposits are not an extra fee. Shipping is an additional cost per size and weight of order placed. I retain the right to adjust my prices to current market conditions. Quotes are valid for 30 days.

{ QUANTITIES: }
There is a minimum order quantity of 25 on invitations and most stationery items.
Once you have given approval to print, quantities cannot be changed.

{ ORDERING: }
I highly recommend that you order a sample of the invitation (if available) that you like, before placing a final order. When calculating how many invitation sets you should order, it’s typical to count one per couple, single or family, plus about 10 extras. There is a 25-piece minimum purchase amount on most on my stationery items.

When you are ready to place your order, please purchase the "Deposit" listing. Once I receive your payment (and custom design fee, if applicable) plus your wording (if needed), I will send you a PDF proof via email with in 2 days for your approval. Changes can be requested at that time. Three rounds of revisions to the text and layout are included with your deposit. Additional revisions will incur a $20 fee per round.

{ APPROVAL & PRODUCTION: }
Final approval in writing is required to begin printing — this can be done by filling out the "Final Approval Form" located under the "Ordering" section on my website. The remaining balance will be due once approval to print has been given. Any deposits will be deducted from your final order total — deposits are not an extra fee. Printing begins immediately after your approval and any additional fees have been received. Once final approval has been received no further changes can be made without incurring re-design or printing costs.

{ HOW LONG? }
:: Please allow 3-4 weeks for design, production, printing and assembling to complete invitation orders, and at least 2 weeks on event accessories.
:: Custom design work may take between 4-5 weeks to complete.
:: Save-the-dates should be mailed 6-7 months prior to your wedding.
:: Invitations should go out 8-10 weeks prior to the event date.
:: Additional items such as escort cards, programs, menus, table numbers, favor tags and thank you notes should be considered 4-6 weeks prior to the event.

{ CUSTOM DESIGN WORK: }
I am here to work with your budget. All invitations shown can be put together with no mat, with mat, folded card, petal fold, and pocket fold. Upgraded paper, ribbon and envelope selections can always be accommodated, and will result in additional fees, just ask for a quote!

In the event that you would like me to design a custom invitation suite for your special event, there is a one time, non-refundable custom design fee to start the design process. The custom design fee ranges from $50 - $100 depending on the complexity of your design. Any photos used in your suite that I do not own already is an addition $20 per photo. I will work closely with you to develop your dream invitation suite or stationery to work perfectly with your theme. After our initial meeting, you’ll be presented with a preliminary concept. Three rounds of revisions to the text and layout are included. Additional revisions that alter the design will incur a $20 fee per round. Willow Glen reserves the rights to all designs created on a custom basis.
