Small-scale, humane angora fiber farm in Louisiana

I'm Aleatha Shannon. I'm here to help provide squishy handspun yarn, luscious blended wool batts, and handspun yarn accessories. Want to learn how to spin? I have the perfect beginner's kit for you.

Welcome to my fiber studio and mini farm! When I was a kid, there were three things I loved to do pretty much every day: playing outside, crafting, and taking care of animals. Now here I am, still doing the same things. I love to play with all kinds of different natural fibers, and blend them into batts to make exquisite unique yarns. I love the feel of fiber turning into yarn as it spins through my fingers. I spend a lot of time outside foraging or growing dye plants in my garden. And I love working with my bunny business partners. They grow such amazing, soft, beautiful coats. My angora rabbits get sheared humanely every 3-4 months, and get to run free and play for several hours just about every day.
