A vintage treasure trove.........
Here at Willow's Room we love vintage childrens clothes. From 1950s baby dresses & party frocks to 70s boho chic and retro 1980s fashion!
Based in rural Derbyshire, England, but shipping worldwide.
Each item is individually selected, described & photographed in detail. We do the hunting, trawling and researching so you can simply pick from a wide selection of gorgeous vintage.
All our vintage is genuine and original. We aren't big fans of labelling stuff from the 90s as vintage, so we rarely sell anything newer than the 80s.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
- Custom or personalized orders
- Perishable products (like food or flowers)
- Digital downloads
- Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
I'm happy to accept returns, if you would like to return an item, please contact me to discuss the return. Items should be returned in the state they were received.
Unless there is a fault with the item which had not been previously noted (vintage items tend to have a few flaws and I am always very careful to describe these) I am not able to refund original postage costs and the buyer is responsible for the costs of returning the item.

Payment
Shipping
I aim to ship all items within 3 working days of receiving payment.
I ship worldwide and for international orders I use Royal Mail Airmail. International buyers should select the tracked shipping upgrade at checkout if they would like tracking.
Shipping to the US is currently (November 2021) taking up to 28 days due to customs backlogs caused by Covid.
If you need an item for a specific date please let me know so I can advise you if I think this will be possible.
Additional policies and FAQs
Many vintage items don't have size labels and if they do the clothes are often smaller than modern equivalents. Think 60s & 70s rising hemlines!
If the item has a size label we'll always tell you & if there is no size label we'lll give you an approximation/guestimate. We''ll also give you the measurements so you can check these against the intended wearer or against an item that fits them (tricky with wriggly babies!)
Why Buy Vintage?
This could probably turn into a bit of an essay, so we'll try to keep it short! Vintage mean clothes which are unique, different, well made, sustainable and have a history and a story. What's not to love!
Can I put it in the washing machine?
We all know that practicality is a must with kids clothes and we are happy to report that most vintage pieces can be washed in a machine. Some are more delicate and may require hand washing, think antique christening gowns and items with lots of embroidery. If an item has any particular washing requirements we will always let you know.
