Graphic design & Illustration
Hi! I'm Winchester. I am a professional graphic designer/photographer and my preferred medium is the digital canvas. I am a big fan of both visual and literary arts; my Etsy name is derived from a quintessentially English poem by John Betjeman.
Although my medium is digital, I am largely a traditionalist at heart. I seek cities rich in history and heritage. Many of my designs have been created by candlelight underneath the 16th century spires of the Ædes Christi.
I believe in resurrecting the self-sufficiency of the past, when quality reigned over quick, profit-oriented mass-production. My love of handmade and vintage descends from this.
