1 out of 5 starsI made a mistake and sent a message to cancel the order 32 minutes after it was made. The seller responded 15 hours and 59 minutes later saying: "I received your refund request. Unfortunately, your order had already been processed and handed over to UPS just before your message arrived." But the tracking details show the item was handed to the shipper 11 hours and 38 minutes after my refund request was sent. I don't normally post reviews, but this just seems like bad faith.... Indeed, I was not surprised when the seller only offered to refund the purchase price if I returned the box unopened, leaving me with the equally expensive shipping costs to and from my home and extra brokerage fees that I was charged by the shipper.

We are sorry for the misunderstanding. Your cancellation request arrived at 3:20 AM local time, which was outside our business hours. To provide our global customers with the fastest delivery possible, our shipping labels are generated early in the workday, and yours was processed at 3:16 PM, before we could catch the message in our queue. We did contact the courier to stop the package, but it had already departed. We are pleased that Etsy’s official investigation confirmed we followed all policies and granted a full refund under the Purchase Protection program. Thank you for your feedback.
