I love working with wire.

I had been an international trader selling used auto parts and importing African wood carvings, fabric, beads and gemstones. I love to travel. After the birth of my youngest child and a major illness, I could no longer continue with the demands of my trading company. I reduced my business to just jewelry making. After about five years I started making wire jewelry. I fell in love with wire jewelry due to the nature of wire. You can do the same twists and turns but there will always be some variation which makes each piece unique.

I work with natural stones and cowrie shells which are my signature. Working with gemstones is so calming because each type of gemstone has its own energy. I love when a customer comes to my booth and runs their hand over the table to see.

I'm traveling again and in June 2015 I spent a week in Istanbul, Turkey. I have to go back, that was not enough time. Smile.

I have customers who are still wearing and receiving compliments on my jewelry twenty years later. I have shipped my "pretties" around the world. I'm sure you'll find a piece to add to your collection, if not, I'm available for custom orders.
