I create my paintings using soft pastels on paper. -

Many, many layers are applied and blended into the paper. -

I spray each layer with a UV fixative that adheres the pastels to the paper and brightens the colors for added depth. -

I apply a final layer of white egg tempura paint to make the highlights super bright. -

Always aspiring to inspire.
I create original paintings and jewelry featuring animals and mythological creatures that inspire me including wolves, cats, mermaids, unicorns, big cats, marine life, and just about every animal, bird, and insect on the planet.
I use pastels or acrylics for my paintings. I love pastels for creating intricate fur details on my wolves, cats, and wildlife. They also lend themselves well to my marine life and fantasy art. I use acrylics for my larger paintings such as my Dancing Pelicans painting.
I also welcome custom orders for portraits or your favorite animal.
