Life is too short for boring art!

Buffalo, New York · 8 Sales

Announcement   Welcome to Wise Woman Designs! Herein you will find all manner of fun and cool things from dolls to jewelry to kits and patterns to make your own.

I make art because I need to; it is an inherent part of who I am, not a choice, so when I don't get to be creative I get cranky. That being said, what happens to all this art once I get done with it? Some of it stays home with me (some forever and some for just a while), some of it ventures out into the world to do good work (by being donated to various auctions and fundraisers for causes I support) and the rest of it comes here.

I think that life is frequently too short and too serious, so I am doing my part to add some laughter and whimsy. I hope you enjoy my work and that if a piece speaks loudly enough to you it will be invited home to live with you. Have fun and thanks for visiting my shop!

I want you to be as in love with my pieces as I am with the process of making them. I am thrilled that there is a venue like Etsy to let artists and lovers of art come together and share our passion for the work and the process of creating it. The whole point is for everyone to have a positive experience and connect on a level that goes beyond an impersonal purchase from a faceless corporation.

Thanks for visiting and thank you for your support!

Returns and exchanges
I want your experience with your purchase and my shop to be a positive one. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me within 5 days of receipt and we will figure out a way to make it right.
Payment
Payment must be made within 3 days of purchase.

If you would like to pay directly with a credit card (MasterCard or Visa), you certainly may. The following information is required: Card type, card number and expiration date, 3 digit security code from the back of the card, telephone number (including area code), and zip code.

Personal checks are accepted, but please be aware that your purchase will not be shipped until your check has cleared the bank. Generally, this means about 10 days.
Shipping
I ship via USPS. My aim is not to make a profit on shipping, but to simply cover costs; since postal rates seem unpredictable these days this has become a hit or miss proposition. If the actual cost of shipping is more than $1.00 lower than what I have charged you, I will gladly refund the difference.

Insurance is included in your shipping cost. That way, any misadventures encountered by your package along the shipping path are covered and nobody is unhappy. I hate nasty surprises and am sure you do too!

I will send you a shipping confirmation via e-mail as soon as your package leaves my hands.
