Announcement   Apparently as of October 1st 2015 USPS stopped tracking registered INTERNATIONAL packages, except for few countries. Which pretty much means that your letters and ePackets that were sent by you with tracking numbers are turned to regular service the moment they pass the US border.

Letters aren’t scanned and registered into the USPS system, which means they are very much prone to being lost. Or simply stolen.

I will inform you about any further changes, as I am trying to check other options beside EMS.

For now, all my mail has been shipped by Polish Post Services and arrived safely, but it's not guaranteed and it's on the USPS side not mine (parcels leave my country as registered, insured with a tracking number)

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

If you would like a custom-made tsumami piece to match an outfit please contact me. You may be as general or as specific as you like when it comes to color, size and details of the order. Even if it is your first time ordering a commission, I can walk you through the process, give advice as to color, size and style.

Sizing details

My items are usually made with 2x2 cm squares and the measurements are given in centimetres. They aren't exact - it's hard to measure a kanzashi exactly and it may be a few milimetres one way or the other.

Care instructions

Kanzashi should be kept out of sunlight and dust, preferably in a jewelry box (if you own more than one kanzashi it's good to add a lavender sachet to the box) . I do my best to make Wisteria Garden's kanzashi durable, but as with any delicate material, care should be taken when handling and storing your piece.

Do your best to stop them getting wet. My tsumami works are made with traditional techniques, which involve water-soluble glues. Mild humidity resulting from humid air or very light rain should not be a problem, but please be informed that it's best to avoid it.

Tsumami zaiku are not machine washable, nor can they be dry-cleaned. In some cases they can be spot-cleaned by hand.
Contact me in case of any questions.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I can add a custom note or a gift-wrap on demand, but usually my items are shipped tissue-wrapped, secured with bubble wrap and in cardboard boxes.

Wholesale availability

I do not accept wholesale. Kanzashi are too intricate to be available as a wholesale. Some very simple items, like single flowers could be made in larger numbers, but usually it is impossible - kanzashi com off my tweezers one at a time.

My textiles

I use mostly silk, either from Milanówek, which is the traditional Polish center of silk manufacture, or vintage kimono silk.
Recently though, due to popular demand of vegetarians and vegans I started using Italian cotton. It's 100% plant fibers and very high quality.

NO kimono was harmed during the process: the silks I use all come from unsewn bolts or unwearable pieces which were took apart to salvage the usable pieces of precious silks for handicraft. I do not take wearable kimono apart!
