I still remember the days and nights I prayed for all the things I have now.
I grew up in a family where making things was incredibly important. There was never a time when I wasn't trying out something new. From threading buttons onto shoe laces to stitching and making rag dolls out of old pillow cases, I was always hungry to learn.
Knitting has always provided me with comfort; even in moments of complete despair I was able to find hope when I shut myself away and worked another row on an endless pile of projects.
I make things with my hands because it feeds my soul and keeps me smiling, I want to share that with other people. My Etsy shop is so important to me, it's a little corner of cyber space where I get to hang out and share the things I have made with the world.
WitchCraftyLady was born from my love of making things and wanting to give people a chance to buy quality goods at affordable prices.
As a person of colour it is very difficult to make the same impact on the knitting and crafting community. Please buy from Maker's who are Black and People of Colour, it shows you care and it shows you want to be a part of the movement to bring the issue of Diversity and Inclusion to the forefront of people's minds. I do provide personalised orders for some items, please contact me if you are interested in having something made for yourself. I can make knitted items in different colours but this depends on the stock If you want a particular braid spun up from the shop, then please contact me so I can work out costs.
