I couldn't find caps for my midget Mason jars. Now retired, l'm making some reproduction hard-to-find lids and bands by resizing more common ones.

5 out of 5 starsSuper quick shipping. Vintage lids clean & in great condition. I have a large collection of very old mason jars from different makers & use them for all types of foods & craft item storage & it's becoming more difficult to find the old one-piece lids. So glad I found this seller.

Custom and personalized orders
At some point I expect to be able to accept special requests for lid variations. Its a bit daunting as I open this store up for business, and I will know more about what variations are being bought, at what prices what quantities, etc., after some time. Please do let me know what you would like. Send me a message, and we'll see. I probably will have at least a few assorted variations available most of the time.
Sizing details
These wonderful old jars sometimes vary a bit in size. Each lid is tested on a number of my jars and is guaranteed to fit snugly on your jars.
Of course, don't try to can with these reproduction lids. Don't overtighten. As a rule, never pick up a jar of any value by it's cap/lid (though it's hard not to sometimes). This includes when you are shopping in antique stores!
Care instructions
The base stock for many of these lids is approaching 100 years old. I like the look, patina, character...call it what you will...of these old lids. I could use new old stock - NOS - lids as base stock, but consciously don't. Each lid is different and unique because the old lid it was made from was unique as well. You may find a minor imperfection in a lid that ads to it's 100 year old look.
These lids are for decorative purposes and do not need special care.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Lids are generally shipped USPS First Class Package or Priority rate in a bubble mailer envelope. Large quantity orders may ship in USPS flat rate boxes.
I have had nothing but problems trying to ship to Canada, and I give up. So I will NOT accept orders that ship to Canada at this time.
