We welcome your payment through PayPal. You do not need to be a member of PayPal to make your payment through PayPal. There is no cost to you to use PayPal, and there are advantages for you to do so. We appreciate your prompt payment, immediately is best, please not more than 3 days. If you use a credit card, PayPal gives the OK to ship immediately. If you use a check, it takes time to clear before PayPal gives the OK to ship. We must collect 9.113% Missouri sales tax for orders sold to Missouri customers and shipped to Missouri addresses.
As soon as PayPal gives us the OK to ship, our goal is to ship immediately. We offer shipping to customers with confirmed PayPal addresses in the United States. We offer standard U.S. mail and Priority Mail to U.S. customers. The amounts we charge for shipping are less than our costs for handling, packaging and shipping. We suggest that you purchase postal insurance. As soon as PayPal gives the OK to ship, we try to ship in less than 24 hours. Usually your items are out in the very next PO pick-up.

--- Shipping outside the U.S. Due to restrictions and regulations, at this time, we are not set up to ship outside the U.S. We realize that items are sometimes shipped outside the U.S. in just a first class envelope. However, we feel obliged to follow the regulations and restrictions that have been established. And this makes shipping outside the U.S. cost prohibitive for us. Perhaps some day this will change. Thank you for your understanding.
Additional policies and FAQs
The items I offer for sale here have all been hand worked by me. My speciality is hand setting gemstones. I prepare the silver or gold mountings by first shaping and filing the mountings to fit each gemstone. The mountings are sometimes made by me, sometimes purchased. Next I smooth the file marks by sanding. Then I use a rough polish to grind out the sanding marks. After that I use a final polish to obtain a high luster. Then I carefully place the gem into the mounting and gently set it in place by hand. Once again I use the final polish to give the metal a high luster. The piece is cleaned and dried and inspected inbetween each step. I inspect each piece to be sure that each stone has been set to display its best characteristics in the best way possible. Then it is is ready for your approval.
Do you do custom, repair, or special order work? No, not for about 25 years now.
Sometimes you sell vintage items, what about that? I am thankful to have friends in the antique business. They give me great prices that I can pass on to you, my customers. But my main focus is on the things I make by hand. I hope you like them. Thank you for your interest. Don wmsandco

--- Some customers ask about wholesale pricing. Actually the pricing I use is wholesale. Please consider this. Do not shop for percent discounts. You are not selling percent discounts. You are selling items at a price. Please look at my items and price. Then check your supplier. Are these items available? What price? Hopefully you will find that the items I offer and my prices are most competitive, and will permit you to make a good and fair profit. Remember, you cannot sell what you don't have. Thanks!
