About

Creativity is the Spice of Life!

I started my shop in February of 2011. I was looking for a way to not only express my creativity and love for jewelry, but to also find a way to help make ends meet. After being forced to retire due to coming down with RA in 1997, it did not take me long to realize that social security alone was not cutting it. Years went by with me doing this and that from home. Nothing ever really payed off and nothing ever quenched my thirst for having a creative outlet.
I had made a few pieces of jewelry for myself and friends over the years. I learned how to do Native American style beadwork many years ago, but never thought I could utilize the skill to make money. I decided that was just the beginning of what I would learn to do. I loved making jewelry so much, I knew I had to branch out. So, I bought a few basic jewelry making supplies and starting doing feather earrings, beaded bracelets, hair pipe jewelry, etc.
I heard about Etsy from a friend back in 2010. I had been doing craft shows here and there, but they were really hard on my health. Having 2 knee replacements and a hip replacement allowed me to live a fairly normal life, but my stamina was no longer there. Pain is also the constant companion of someone with RA. So, I went on the Etsy website and read about it. I thought it was an amazing idea! How cool to have all kinds of artists on one site, forming a community of talented artisans and awesome customers who appreciate what the site has to offer!
I opened my shop in February of 2011 and have been here ever since. I have made many wonderful friends, both customers and Etsy artisans alike. I have made some great sales and have also supported my fellow artists by purchasing from them! I can't say I have become rich or famous...but I sure feel like it!

I have always been artistic, but was never able to draw. I found instead, that I was very handy at working with beads, yarn, leathers, etc. I love making my jewelry and other crafts. It's part of who I am. It's a way that I can express myself. I put great pride in every craft I do, so if you are not happy with your piece...I want to make it right.
I do accept custom orders, but I require half of the agreed upon total up front. I will set up a special listing prior to the work being done.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits

Additional policies and FAQs
I smudge every piece before I send it to you for purification and blessings.
I am very happy to do custom orders! I actually love creating a piece especially for someone.

Unless otherwise specified, I do not use sterling silver or real gold. It's very expensive and would increase my prices considerably. I make costume jewelry. I do my best to turn out good, well made pieces. If you want something done in a precious metal or with precious gems, you must notify me in advance as a custom order. I will also require payment for the materials up front.
