About

A student and teacher as long as I'm able to be ...

I began working with leather in 2008 after a trip to South Dakota and meeting a nice leather worker who took a little time to show me a bit of the craft and encourage my interest. Since then I have learned a lot and taught a lot, believing that we should share our knowledge, as Mr Trevino did with me, to expand this art to future generations.

Last summer I happened upon a lot of old tobacco pipes and found that restoring them was a way for me, now physically limited by a neurological disorder, to get back into a little bit of wood working, an old hobby of mine. Through much trial and error and lots of mentoring from some great folks, as has been the case with my leather work, I have become quite proficient in taking worn, dirty, damaged old pipes into reborn pipes, sometimes looking as good as new, sometimes with some of their character still remaining. But always turned back into functional, attractive pieces that are suitable for both use and display.

We strive to provide great products, communication and service. If you have questions about an item, photo or anything else, just convo me. I do my best to answer all questions and inquiries within 24 hours or less.

If you need more or larger photos just ask; Etsy limits the photos I can put in the listing to five but I have no problem sending more, higher resolution ones if you would like them.

Payment
Contact with payment and shipping information should be made within 48 hours.

PayPal is accepted as are USPS (from the Post Office) money orders. We also accept all major credit/debit cards directly and now participate in the Etsy direct payment and Gift Card options. PayPal transactions that require clearance will be held until the payment ships due to new policies in place by PayPal and Etsy.

In general, personal checks are not encouraged, for both your safety and mine. If there is no other via option they may be considered. If accepted, these items will also be held until payment clears.

Payments can take 10-14 business days to clear.
Shipping
We strive to ship all items within 24-48 hours of receiving clear payment. There can be circumstances beyond my control that could delay this time frame. In the event that were to be the case, you will be contacted ASAP to inform you of the potential delay.

Our method of domestic shipping is via USPS, either First Class or Priority mail, with an occasional parcel post; we try to use the most cost-effective method available.

International shipping is almost always USPS Priority Mail International. On some items/occasions we may use USPS International First Class; it is cheaper (sometimes) but does take longer and is not traceable. If you choose this method of shipping by making the purchase and remitting payment you agree to assume all responsibility for the item(s) once they are shipped. Please inquire before purchasing about the method and cost of shipping your item if you have concerns about International First Class shipping or your country isn't listed in the shipping chart; we do ship to destinations other than those quoted in the listings.
Refunds and Exchanges
If an item should be found to be defective, I will make either repairs or replacement at my discretion, providing the item is in like-new condition and no signs of abuse are present. Normal wear is just that. In short: I try very hard to "get it right" from the outset so there are no problems to deal with for you or for me.

Any concerns will be addressed on any item on an item-by-item basis.
