I have always had a need to be creative in some fashion as far back as I can remember. Fidgety hands combined with a hyperactive imagination can make it hard to focus too long any one thing. This being a big reason you will find a variety of items in my shop.
Many of the woods used are rescues from being burned or otherwise discarded. I also work with some exotics in addition to those native to the northeast. All of which are acquired from certified sustainable sources. Responsible forestry is very important in preserving and maintaining our beautiful environment.
In addition to my woodwork, I make a variety of jewelry, which you will also find in my gift shop. I incorporate the woods I use in many of the jewelry pieces I make and is how Wood and Wire Creations was born.
I have lived my life in the heart of the finger lakes region of NY, home to the finger lakes Wine trail, the tallest Waterfall east of the mississippi (taller than Niagara) and miles upon miles of natural beauty.
Living in this region all of my life, I have been inspired by the abundant natural beauty, diverse local music and culture, and of course the wonderful local wines and great folks who make them.
