WoodNotions designs and makes Original Laser cut ornaments, home decor and crafting/jewelry supplies

Hi, I'm Wendy and the owner of WoodNotions. I design and hand make laser cut items for home decoration, and jewelry/crafting supplies for use as instrument rosettes, basket centers, favor tags, necklace pendants, bracelet charms, earrings, etc. WoodNotions is a spin-off of www.CardNotions.etsy.com , which is now dedicated to paper products, such as pop-up cards, invitations, and paper tags.

All wooden items are treated with a clear, food safe finish to beautify and strengthen the wood. The standard items are made from 1/8 inch Baltic Birch, a three ply with good quality wood on both outer surfaces. You may also choose variations including solid Maple, solid Walnut and solid Cherry wood. I also have many different colors of acrylic!

I am a self-taught artist with a background in Science, Design and Engineering. My inspiration comes from nature, family, friends and customers.

All of my art and designs are original, and I make everything myself. My fabrication process is very flexible allowing me to modify my artwork, and cutting on any item I make. I can through cut or engrave almost anything on any item, and love to create new designs upon request.

I welcome custom and wholesale orders.

Do you do custom orders?

I am always happy to consider new and custom designs. If it is something that I can sell in my WoodNotions shop or it is a large volume order, there will be no additional design fee.
It usually takes about a week to create a new design, including input from you.

Custom and personalized orders

I'm always happy to personalize an item, usually free of extra charge. If the personalization is more than 25 characters or something else, please contact me, so that I can get it just right for you.

Sizing details

I can change the size of most of the designs, making them from thicker or thinner wood or changing the size from ~1 inch diameter, up to 12 inches height x 24 inches width. Prices will vary so we can work that out before I start.

Can you create designs representing logos or online vector designs?

I can not reproduce a design of an item that is copyrighted, such as a company or sports team logo, or designs created by other artists, without the express consent of the original artist. An exception are the Smokey Bear ornaments that I am licensed to create and sell.
