A beautiful piece with a handwritten note. Great seller.
Still (saw)dusty after all these years...
I started woodworking in 1980, the year I bought my first house and thought, "Let's fill this garage with tools." The first things I made were business card cases- very similar to the ones I still offer today. As a matter of fact, my wife of 26 years still has one of the first ones I made - she bought it when we were just dating. Awww...
I love woodworking; it gives me an immediate feeling of accomplishment. I go from a slab of something to a beautiful, functional item created with my own hands. No lasers here...
A lot of the items I make have come from necessity. I didn't want my 3 grandsons surrounded by plastic, so I began making rattles, toys, and games for them. Since I have big hands, texting was slow, error-filled, and frustrating, so I started making the pen/stylus. My beautiful wife grew her hair long and kept using pencils to keep it in place until I began making hair forks. The list goes on and on...
I never know when the next inspiration will appear.
