REALLY like these vintage-look prints! Will make a super-cute top or shorts, I haven't decided yet. THANK YOU!!

This is an adorable lightweight toy that was well received. A few hanging threads and unevenly cut ribbon ends are tiny details I noticed.

It all started with a Killer Quilt!

When I was 10, my mother, a lifelong quilter, decided she's make me a quick quilt, one that didn't need countless hours of piecing and hand stitching. That quilt was a popular 70's icon - the bubble quilt. Well, my mom likes to overdo things, and because the house was always cold, she thought she's overstuff each little puffy square of the quilt. When the entire thing was done, it weighed several times more than I did! Dubbed by my brothers and sisters as the "killer quilt" because it was so heavy, I may suffocate underneath it's weight.

Fast forward years later when my mother created a little quilted ball by sewing 6 of the little puffs together and hiding a jingle bell inside. She gave them as baby gifts. A new mom at the time with my first sewing machine I decided to improve upon the design with more modern and updated fabrics, a rattle inside and lots of little ribbons and rickrack for sensory exploration. And, the Jumble Ball toy was made! I gave some away to friends as gifts and when the umpteenth person said 'you should sell these', I decided I would.

My Etsy shop was born in 2008 and in addition to Jumble Balls, I make quiet books for babies, home good and use my scrap fabric to create fabric covered push pins.
