About WoolyDyeWorks
I have been a rug hooker for over 25 years. I started dyeing in the weaving studio in college in the late 1960's. I continued weaving on and off through the years but when I found Rug Hooking I sold my looms. Until I retired in 2014 I mainly dyed for myself and a few friends, but after I retired I started Wooly Dye Works to dye and sell the beautiful mottled wool and spots that I love to use myself. In addition to my Etsy shop I do sell at Hook-ins, retreats, and Guild meetings in the Mid-Atlantic and East Coast states.
