Welcome to my little wooly corner of the world! Woolyhands is a collection of hand spun yarn with an occasional splash of wool or knit accessories made with love just outside of Portland, OR.
I've been a seller on Etsy since 2007 when I opened IdyllHands. I toured the NWArkansas craft show circuit with my sister for years selling jewelry and handspun yarn until I opened Woolyhands and started dying and blending wool along with spinning yarn. Eventually my dream job called me west. The never ending Portland commute coupled with the adventures my husband and I found ourselves on didn't leave much time for jewelry making and creating took a break.
My dream job was recently eliminated due to COVID and I found myself with loads of free time. It only made sense to start making again... letting the creative process soothe the frustrations so many of us are facing right now.
