I'm the youngest full time typewriter repairman in the world (at the age of 21) and I also hold some records for having the best memory in The Netherlands.
Obviously, I like slightly weird and obscure things.
I'm also the owner of SchoolMaps, but not really working on that right now:

This is exactly what I was looking for as a birthday gift to life who loves to write. The Lettera 32 is beautiful, and works like a charm too! It was a pleasure doing business, and I now know who to go to for vintage typewriters.

My boyfriend ADORED the typewriter! Shipping did take a little longer than expected, but when the typewriter arrived all was forgiven. Types beautifully and packaged really well for safe travel. Thank you!

To find this rare Tippa model so beautifully preserved, complete and serviced, in perfect functioning condition with like-new glass keys, well I was thrilled! I asked Wessel how she typed. Snappy, lightly, firmly, effortlessly, a dreamy little typer, he said. I asked how ultra-portable it was. He put it in his back pack, and traveled to his parents house, just to find out. His communications were clear and honest, and I felt I'd already had the machine in-hand; indeed, when it quickly arrived from overseas, I was amazed at how everything about the machine was exactly as Wessel conveyed, and how like a smaller sister to my Erika 5 with such impressive German engineering, and especially, feel. I was looking for this Tippa. Wessel had one. Of course, he did. He said I'd love it. Of course, I do.
About
I'm repairing typewriters so that people can feel more connected to the things they write.
This shop started out when I finally decided to follow up on the long standing need for a typewriter. I've always loved writing, but I feel like I'm not getting away from the computer anymore, and it's always easier to watch yet another movie than to create something like a good story.
A typewriter was the perfect way to get me creative again.
When I started collecting them, I noticed that a few of them were broken and so I tinkered until they were working again. The idea that I can literally see and feel what is wrong with my machines really attracted me. Computers are close to magic, but I can understand and work with typewriters.
A couple of my friends were inspired and started using typewriters too. I fixed their machines when they were broken, and eventually decided to start selling typewriters to people who want to use them for writing too.
Now I've sold typewriters to over 30 countries and I'm close to having machines in every state of the USA. If anyone from North Dakota, Montana or Kansas reads this, please buy my typewriters.
My machines are in museums, in art galleries and in hundreds of homes of collectors and writers from all over the world.
If you have any questions about anything, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Best wishes,
Wessel

Hi, I'm Wessel. A 21 year old Psychology student who has been repairing and collecting rare antique typewriters for years now. One of my biggest dreams is to get my flight license and fly a para glider. That'd just be awesome.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to buy a ribbon?
The first ribbon will be installed when shipping out the typewriter. Each ribbon lasts a few hundred pages, so I wouldn't worry about it quite yet. When your ribbon is dry, you can buy a new one on eBay. If you have any questions about it by that time, just let me know and I'll send you a link.
What kind of maintenance does my typewriter need?
Don't get it wet, don't let too much dust into the machine (so if you're not using it, putting it back in the case is not a bad idea, otherwise you should dust it off every once in a while).
Otherwise it barely needs any maintenance. A drip of oil once in a blue moon is about all it takes. These machines were made to last. Most of them have been around longer than you have. As long as you don't start throwing them around, they'll keep working for at least a few decades.
Take that, iPhone!
I'm looking for .........
I have about 300 typewriters in my collection and I'm keeping my eye out for several collectors at all times. If you are looking for a certain model, just let me know. Either I have it and you can get it, or i I don't, I will add your name to the list.
Will it be safe to ship the US/China/Australia/Pluto?
Yes. I've shipped close to 400 typewriters and raaaarely anything goes wrong. If it does I'll just send you a new typewriter. I'm a professional, don't worry :)
