I design and screen print all BKLYN Jenny fabrics in my Brooklyn, NY studio, Workroom Social. Because I am a person, and people aren’t robots, prints may vary slightly. Variation is normal, natural, and charming (if you ask me!). Please know that I print all fabrics with the greatest of care and the highest attention to detail.

We only use solvent-free, water-based inks, which are safer for you, us, and the environment. Fabrics printed with water-based inks are soft to touch and easy to sew.

Our fabrics can be machine or hand washed in cold water on a normal cycle. They can also be machine dryed. As with all fabrics bleach, sunlight, and frequent washing will impact color intensity.

*All items are created in a smoke-free environment. We do have a studio dog, but as much as she begs, we never let her lie on the fabric.

**All items are photographed to capture product colors as accurately as possible, but exact color matching is not possible at this time.

We kindly request payment within two days of purchase. Transactions will be cancelled after three days of non-payment. Should you have any problems with the payment process, please contact us, and we will be more than happy to assist you.

New York state residents must pay sales tax, which varies by city. We will add the appropriate sales tax rate after purchase. Feel free to contact us with questions about this.

If you must cancel a purchase for any reason, please contact us directly.
All items will be shipped within three business days of payment receipt. If you need your item shipped earlier than this, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate you.This time frame does not apply to custom orders, however. Custom orders will be shipped within three business days of the project’s completion. We will alert you once an item has shipped.

We will confirm the ship-to (receiver’s) address after payment is received. Please note, we will not ship an item until the ship-to address is confirmed by the buyer. We want your item to get to the right place the first time! We do ship to gift recipients.

Combined shipping cost on multiple purchases is available. If any significant overcharge for shipping occurs, we will happily refund you the difference.

We are happy to provide shipping costs for any special requests prior to purchase.

We use USPS with delivery confirmation to ship all packages unless expedited shipping is requested.

Insurance is available upon request at an additional fee.

Expedited shipping is available (usually UPS, FedEx by request). Please contact us directly before purchasing to discuss express shipping options.

We happily ship International. Buyers are responsible for any receiving fees such as custom fees, taxes, and tariffs in addition to the cost of shipping. Shipping costs for individual items are listed at the highest rate. We will adjust exact shipping costs according to your country after purchase.

If you are located in the New York City area, you are welcome to drop by the studio during normal business hours to pick up your items. Local pick-ups must be scheduled prior to arrival.

Items are packed and shipped in recycled materials whenever possible. If you prefer your items packed and shipped in new materials, please specify at time of payment. We are happy to send your items in new materials at no additional charge.

Gift wrapping with note card is available as follows: +$3 for small items, +$5 for large items.
Refunds and Exchanges
We do not refund or exchange cut fabric. Please measure carefully before you cut!

We do not refund or exchange custom orders.

We are happy to exchange any new, unused but defective items (not including cut fabric or custom orders) for a same or similar item to that purchased. If an exchange is needed, the buyer is responsible for contacting us within seven days of the item’s receipt. After seven days, the sale is final.

The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with exchanges.
