Announcement   Welcome to The World Tree Hoard, the only shop on Etsy primarily dedicated to wire woven & twisted jewelry! A lot of my pieces are direct historical reproductions and historical "extrapolations", but I have concocted a few more modern pieces with the spirit of my old school. That old school being, of course, the viking age Scandinavian with influences of the Celts, Picts, and Anglo-Saxons of the 6th to 11th centuries.

The seller was very friendly and clearly answered all of my questions before placing the custom order, then he gave me exactly what I asked for, and did it ahead of schedule. His work is outstanding. The pieces are beautiful, high quality, and durable. Most importantly, my wife loves them, and she loves that we have a matching pair.

Svein made my torque as a special custom order to match a bracelet I have. I can't say enough, his work is incredible, packed with energy! Absolutely a wonderful job, the man is a true artisan and knows his work. The torque is perfect, powerful, beautiful and carries his spirit of his craft. He definitely is the man to have make a custom piece and has some other pieces I must acquire. Total 100 percent recommend Svein for any custom work or pieces he has on his site....if I haven't purchased it all!!!!!! Please go to his site. Thank you Svein from me and my spirit guides!

Welcome to World Tree Designs, the only Etsy shop (that I've found) primarily dedicated to the art of wire weave. Many of the items on this shop are accurate reproductions of archeological finds, mostly from the countries of Scandinavia during the Vking Age. All other items are quite transparently influenced by medieval designs and techniques.
It's my belief that looking at history reveals designs for jewelry that are truly timeless. It is my intention to keep the ways of my ancestors alive, while at the same time share them with you by providing attractive, well crafted jewelry sure to be fashionable for another millennium!
