5 out of 5 starsI reached out to the artist to see if she was planning on making more of these cups. She was extremely nice and responsive. Told me she would notified me when she had more. She did...and the mugs are spotless and beautiful. Arrived well packaged in perfect condition. Julie...you are talented. Thank you for sharing your art with Harry Potter lovers :)

5 out of 5 starsThis is a beautiful and evocative piece of art. I own a large canvas by the same artist that I bought in a gallery, which is also breathtaking. I bought this smaller one for my husband as a surprise birthday gift. It is perfectly framed and the packaging was extremely protective
About WrenPottery
About the Artist
Julie, the artist behind Wren Pottery founded her studio while living on an island in the coastal rain forest of Southeast Alaska with her husband and two children. Throughout her years there, the raw wilderness of the sea and lush forests, and the small wonders of nature found among the grand landscape were her inspiration to create pottery that is rustic and cozy yet clean in design. Julie's work illustrates a reverence to the simple and wild beauty of nature. Her wheel thrown pieces aim to offer an element of joy to our everyday rituals of eating and drinking. Each piece is unique in subtle ways allowing the innate character of the clay and glaze to express itself, rather than controlling each piece to conform into perfect uniformity. She and her family have since moved back to their roots in Northern Minnesota where Julie continues to throw pottery everyday and enjoys exploring the northern woodlands and waterways. Through dedicated work, Julie continually develops a deeper understanding of what it means to be a potter, a maker of goods, as well as an artist.
