5 out of 5 starsI LOVE the beautiful Celtic design but the fabric feels less like silk and more like cotton. Unfortunately the deck I had in mind was too large and didn't fit, which of course is not the owners fault, but mine since the dimensions were specified :(

The story behind Wyldechilde Creations
Wyldechilde Creations is about making items for people who practice or are learning the Metaphysical Arts.
The Wyldechilde Tarot Bag was conceived and designed by me in the late 1980's and perfected in the early 1990's as the design you see today in my Etsy shop. Back then I was looking for, but I couldn't find, a bag for my own cards that suited my personal style and taste; so, I sat down and came up with the bag design you see here on Etsy. My goal is to offer you bags, pouches, spread cloths, and more that speak to you; items that you'll love to use for your own cards.
Each of my bags and other offerings is handcrafted by me here in my tiny Palm Springs, California workroom. I do everything myself: from shopping for and choosing the fabrics, to cutting the patterns, to sewing and finishing each item, and even the packing and driving to the Post Office to ship each order.
I don't work with leather or other animal hides, and I always try to use cruelty free Peace Silk whenever possible; so the moths are allowed to come out of their cocoons naturally before the cocoons are collected.
If you've seen something in the shop that you liked but was purchased by another, or if you've seen a fabric on one of my creations that you'd like with a fabric from another item, please contact me, and if I still have the fabrics in my stash I'll do my best to put a bag or other item together for you just the way you want it.
All of my bags feature:
2 layers of fabric
The fabric that touches the cards is always a natural fabric
(cotton, silk, wool, hemp, or rayon from bamboo)
No unfinished edges
Belted for secure closure
Most are hand-wash cool water, line dry
Snug bag so your card corners don’t get bent
Colors and patterns to express your individual taste
Custom sizes available
Custom orders always welcome. Tell me what you want and I will turn your idea into a one-a-kind creation just for you. The usual turn around for a custom order is 1 to 3 days.

If you are not happy with your purchase for another reason, please contact me within 3 days after receiving your order and I will do my best to remedy the situation to both our satisfaction.
Wyldechilde Creations bags come in many different sizes. The maximum size deck/cards a bag will hold is clearly listed in the description of each bag. It's the responsibility of the buyer to CHECK the maximum deck size listed on the bag before purchase! NO refunds for bags purchased for decks larger than the maximum listed deck size.
Refunds are given for the item price only, shipping charges cannot be refunded
I’m sorry, but there is no refund on custom orders.
Payment
CUSTOM ORDERS: all custom orders must be paid for within 2 days of the item being finished and listed on Etsy. Any special order item not paid within 2 days of posting a listing will be removed from reserved status and placed in the shop as available to anyone.
It's my goal to work comfortably with everyone so if you're going to need more time to pay for your custom order please make arrangements in advance of placing the order. Thank you for understanding.
Shipping
I always ship with tracking numbers. You’ll receive notification with the package tracking number when your order has shipped.
Items are usually shipped USPS First Class Mail. Because of new USPS handling time, your package may take from 3 to 15 days after shipping for delivery to most U.S. locations. Contact me if you'd like to upgrade to USPS Priority Mail which will take between 2 days and 10 days for delivery.
International delivery times can range from less than a week to up to 6 weeks or more. Unfortunately USPS does not provide tracking information once your package leaves the United States.
International shoppers, please be aware that there is the possibility that the package may be held up in your country’s Customs which may add to your delivery time.
It is also possible that Customs charges, import fees, VAT, handling fees, and taxes may be applied when your order arrives in your country. These extra fees are beyond my control and are the buyer's responsibility.

Wyldechilde Creations bags come in many different sizes and are made when you order and custom tailored to fit your deck, so PLEASE MEASURE YOUR CARDS and SEND YOUR DECK DIMENSIONS in the "Notes to Seller" box when ordering.
The maximum size deck each bag size-range will fit is clearly listed in the description of each bag. Because my bags are tailored like clothing the maximum sizes listed are ACTUALLY the biggest size deck the bag will hold. If your deck is even a fraction of an inch larger than any of the stated dimensions, please order the next size up. If you’re unsure if your deck will fit in the bag you like, please contact me, I’m happy to help you decide what size bag will be the best home for your cards.
If you’ve seen a bag you like but need a larger or smaller size, please don’t hesitate to contact me as I may be able to recreate the bag you want in the size you need.
