I am open to custom orders for handmade micro-macrame and beaded accessories, including handmade barrettes. Also, if you're looking for certain faux stones in polymer clay that are not currently in my shop I will gladly see what I can do to fulfill your request. Mixed media jewelry and decor is always a joy to do, and I will happily create items that you suggest even if you don't know exactly what you want, with no obligation to buy.
PLEASE NOTE: All of the earrings in my shop can be changed over to clip-ons or, for a small fee, sterling silver. All bracelets, chokers, rings and necklaces can be re-sized to suit your needs at no additional cost.

Unique Jewelry and Accessories to Last a Lifetime
Having spent the last 15 years or so looking for the perfect artistic expression for my needs, it's safe to say that I've either tried a technique or am going to try it. Nothing is more fulfilling to me than to create complex pieces with multidisciplinary components that I made myself.
After bead-weaving for about 10 years, I discovered micro-macrame and fell deeply in love. While other macrame artists tend to prefer the easy knotting of nylon, it felt harsh in my hands and sometimes chaffed after completion. I quickly got hooked on silk, and started making most of my pieces out of 100% silk cords. You'll still find the odd cotton, nylon or linen in my shop, but the beauty and fine texture of silk overrides most other considerations for me. As an added bonus, silk has been known to last for centuries--perfect for my personal goal of making pieces that are virtually indestructible.
The world of fashion changes constantly, so it may seem impractical to create such durable jewelry and accessories. For this reason, I strive to add a timeless quality to many of my pieces with touches of classical, Renaissance, Western, or traditional elegance. That said, I'm somehow enchanted by the look of skulls in my pieces, so unexpectedly venture into contemporary Goth or Rocker styles every now and then.
Overall, I believe that everyone needs a discipline that they choose to practice every day, striving to perfection over the course of a lifetime. That one thing, for me, is jewelry design. I got started with the basics over 20 years ago, and am now on a quest to find something that the world hasn't yet seen.

I live in Wyoming, where I work full-time at home as a writer and spend the rest of my productive time creating unique micro-macrame and beaded items. Life revolves around my home, four children, two rescue dogs and improving my business.

I do strive to fill all custom orders, but may not be able to during some times of year. For instance, I generally close Christmas custom orders at the end of September so that everything will be delivered on time. If you ask for a custom order, I will do my best to give you an accurate delivery time frame, and I do understand if you choose not to wait if it's a very long estimate.
