About

I love to craft with hemp and beads.

I started drawing when I was in grade school. I majored in Art in High School and also 1 year of collage.

My mother, my daughter [Rene'] and I started making craft items to sell when Rene' was 12 years old. 37 years ago. I started selling online back in 2003. I was doing counted cross stitch pieces. 5 Years ago Rene' told me about Etsy. I joined in August of 2010.

A couple of years ago I learned to make hemp pieces, and I love it. I make bracelets, chokers, anklets, key chains/key rings, book marks and whatever else I can think of. I love to use all kinds of beads...plastic, wood, glass, gem stones...especially turquoise and amethyst . I have fallen in love with all kinds of beads, and chains, and all colors of beads. It gives me pleasure just looking at the beads and thinking, what am I going to do with them. I've been know to buy beads or a pendant with no idea what to do with it. A year later, maybe, I will make something with it.

"Handmade" to me is going around buying the supplies I need, whether online or at a local craft store. Then, I take the hemp, beads, etc and make them into pieces I hope someone besides me will love. Once a year we travel to Tucson, Az and I visit the Gem and Bead Mall there. I purchase my Turquoise, Amethyst and other gemstones there.

I also make jewelry and key chains/key rings that are not hemp. I do counted cross stitch, crocheted and loomed pieces too. I have to be careful because sometimes, I tend to want to make everything I see...lol.

Nothing in my shop is mass produced. Every piece I have listed in my shop is ready to ship. I just have to package it and mail it.

I am very blessed to have the ability to create things I love. Oh btw, I just turned 73 years old this past September. My husband and I have been married 46 years. We have a daughter, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I am blessed.

If you are interested in any of my bracelets, please keep in mind, the bracelet length should be about an inch larger than your wrist. Please measure your wrist before purchasing any of my bracelets. If you are interested in purchasing a hemp bracelet with large beads, please remember, the beads will take up a little more room. You should probably add at least an inch and a half to the measurement of your wrist. Many of these bracelets would be great stacking them on your wrists.

Everything in my shop is handmade by me. Nothing is mass produced here.
