Greetings from Yarnscape! Here, I try to capture the colours of my world and express them in fibery form. Whether you're a knitter, crocheter, weaver, spinner, fibre artist of any kind or just a yarn collector, you are more than welcome here.

I am a proponent of slow living: I value the beauty of the everyday, personal interactions, great quality and individuality.

I am also passionate about environmental responsibility and ethical trading, and strive to reflect this in my own business practices. Right now, my labels are made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper, and I practise as much water conservation as is currently possible in my dye works. I am working towards ensuring that all my yarns and fibres are sourced with the highest regard for animal welfare, fair trade and total yarn-miles (we've all heard of food miles, right?).

I will consider custom work, but am not always available, due to the demands of a full time job, two rescued lurchers and my partner, J. If you see a yarn you love but not the colour, convo me and I'll see what I can do.

Returns and exchanges
I really do want you to be happy with your purchases, so if there's a problem, please convo me. Refunds and exchanges are at my discretion, but I'm not an unreasonable dyer.
My preferred payment method is PayPal. Remember, you do not need to have a PayPal account to make a payment! I do accept cheques, but in UK POUNDS ONLY, please!

I expect to receive PayPal payments within two days of a sale being agreed - but if you're online, why not do it now?

If you want to pay by cheque (reminder: UK Pounds only!), please convo me ASAP to let me know. I expect to receive cheques within a week of agreeing a sale, and will send them to my bank within two working days - just so you know.

If you need to cancel a purchase, please convo me and we'll talk. I would always rather hear from you than have a disappearing buyer.
I am based in the UK, and use Royal Mail for my shipping. Items are shipped First Class within the UK, and I offer both Airmail and Surface Mail options for international customers. Insurance/upgrades are available, at your cost, but I *always* get proof of postage.

I usually ship Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. That means I pack items for shipping on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. If you need urgent shipping, convo me and we'll see what can be done.
Additional policies and FAQs
I have two hounds who are not allowed to play in the fibre, but I cannot guarantee that your yarn will be free of puppy-fur. If you are very allergic to dogs, I'm really sorry, but my products are probably not suitable for you.

I love it when people get in touch with me, so please don't hesitate to convo me with any questions, comments or enquiries.
