gorgeous print of amazing artwork. I also bought a discontinued work of hers off from another site, and the printing, paper, or quality was no where near as nice as buying a signed edition straight from the artist on etsy.

I’ve been wanting to gift this print to my partner for a very long time as it reminds me of one of our most special birthday getaways on Orcas Island. I wasn’t expecting to get it in time for Christmas but amazingly enough it arrived just in time! As expected, my partner loved it! We will cherish this print for years to come, thank you!
I opened my shop in late 2009, when I was a student at the Maryland Institute College of Art, as a way of offering reproductions of my work to those who expressed an interest in it. The shop took off unexpectedly when my work was featured on design*sponge in the spring of 2010, right after I graduated with a BFA in illustration. I used the printer on campus in those days, but since then have invested in my own, professional grade EPSON printers and have been filling orders from my desk at home.
I believe in making my work accessible to everyone, which is why I offer affordable, high quality prints of my illustration and personal work. Over the years I've streamlined my process of printing, packaging and shipping to make sure that prints reach my customers quickly, safely and packaged like presents - with tissue paper and washi tape.
I enjoy thinking of my work traveling across the United States, to settle in homes and offices of very different people, but to think of all the orders I've received from places all over the WORLD is really an exhilarating feeling. To think I could connect with someone across the globe, beyond the limitations of verbal language, is what really makes my work feel meaningful, especially in times of doubt, and I try to think of it as my small contribution to peace on earth.

Returns and exchange details
Greeting cards in orders of 1-4 are mailed as a letter (in an envelope with a stamp, without a tracking number).
I do my best to ship on the same or next business day after the transaction has been completed, however the process may be slowed when I have a lot of orders at once, in which case it may take up to 5 days. Any known possible delays due to weather or other circumstances are always mentioned in my shop announcement. If you need your order quickly, please let me know in the "message to seller" box and I will do my best to accommodate.
International orders are be shipped First Class International Mail which can take as long as 3 weeks to receive. Please be patient when ordering and note that there might be import duties that may apply upon receipt of the order which the customer is solely responsible for. UK customers: Please be aware that in accordance with UK laws orders from outside the EU valued over £15 may be subject to VAT or CUSTOMS CHARGES that will apply upon receipt of your order. If you have not received your order, your local post office may be holding it until these charges are paid.
Tracking numbers are provided for all orders within the United States (except greeting cards, outlined above). I try to check on all sent orders to make sure they are delivered. Sometimes tracking fails to update, in which case please let me know if your order hasn't arrived within 10 days. Unfortunately tracking numbers are not very reliable for international orders once they leave the country.
If your order does not arrive within 3 weeks or arrives damaged, or if you are unsatisfied with the item for any reason, please contact me immediately to arrange a refund or replacement.
*IMPORTANT* I do my best to respond and resolve issues quickly, so in the event of a problem, please contact me first through Etsy Convo before leaving negative feedback.
Additional policies and FAQs
When ordering prints, please pay attention to the dimensions, which I have included in inches. All of my prints are approximately the same size as or larger than the original illustration (I work very small).
If you order more than one print, I pack them together with one backing board (or rolled together) in order to minimize the weight. If it looks like one of your prints is missing, check behind the other! :) If you're ordering gifts and would like each print to be packaged separately, let me know.
