It began as an innocent thrill for cutting bird shapes out of pretty paper and grew into a mad obsession for creating elaborate scenes of the imagined lives of said birds. Pretty soon, no animals (shapes of them, that is) were spared from being cut out and pasted onto upcycled cardboard and cardstock--

--and from that, was born Yellowcake Crafts.

I have loads of fun creating these original paper art collages, in which I feature different animals participating in a variety of human activities. So far, they snorkel, hike, ride in hot-air balloons, camp, read, celebrate birthdays, love, work out, and kayak (an abbreviated list). They are available in the form of cards, prints, art blocks, sticky notepads, stickers, and jewelry (and more to come!) for you and your favorite people.

I am also the creator, owner, and designer/artist of Tea Party Animals, the painted equivalent of Yellowcake Crafts; and Travel By Sea, pretty and thoughtful jewelry and accessories.
