This address stamp looks so pretty and so professional! I already told friends about this business and I'm considering ordering a Christmas one too. The seller helped make a small adjustment for me and sent proofs right away. She was very responsive!

About

Creating beautiful stamps and letterpress for your personal correspondence

My shop began in the fall of 2012, thanks to unemployment! My sister was about to get married and I wanted to get her a return address stamp as a wedding gift to make writing her thank you notes easier. We had just moved to Oregon and I had a lot of time on my hands so I decided to try making her one instead. I had so much fun with it that I ended up opening an Etsy shop in hopes to sell a few stamps a week. Fast forward to the present, I am now Yellow Fish Paperie LLC, making stamps and letterpress cards every day, and loving every minute!

I work out of my home studio in Oregon. I design on my Mac in Adobe Illustrator and then create stamps using a laser engraver and cards on my 1910's era Chandler and Price letterpress.

    After I make letterpress designs, I send it to a plate maker and they make the photo polymer plate for the design. The plate is like a really firm stamp that I can use on my letterpress. Then they send it back to me and I print the design using my letterpress.

Payment
Payments can be made with PayPal, credit card, or Etsy gift card. If you change your mind after ordering, please contact me as soon as possible and I will be happy to refund your purchase price and shipping. However, after you approve your proof and I have made your stamp I will not be able to cancel your order.
Shipping
Domestic Orders (U.S.): Orders will ship out within the time frame indicated on the listing, usually between 1-5 business days unless listed otherwise. In the rare event that I am unable to ship out your order in this time frame I will contact you via email. All orders are shipped using 3 - 5 day first class mail unless you upgrade to priority shipping at the time of your order. You will receive a shipping confirmation email when your order ships. If your order does not arrive within a week after this confirmation email please contact me. Please make sure that you Etsy address is current and correct as this is the address that I will ship to. I cannot be held responsible for refunding or replacing items that are shipped to the shipping address that you have stored in your Etsy profile that is no longer current.

International Orders: Orders will ship out within the time frame indicated on the listing. In the rare event that I am unable to ship out your order in this time frame I will contact you via email. All orders are shipped using international first class mail. Depending on the destination, orders may take 3 - 6 weeks for arrival. For international orders the buyer is responsible for any additional fees that may be charged at customs, tariffs, VAT and any other fees assigned for importing items. Please contact me about this if you have any questions. If you have not received your order within 6 weeks, please contact me. Please make sure that you Etsy address is current and correct as this is the address that I will ship to. I cannot be held responsible for refunding or replacing items that are shipped to the shipping address that you have stored in your Etsy profile that is no longer current.

I do not include packing slips or receipts with shipments to save on paper. If you require a packing slip please let me know in the "Notes to yellowfishpaperie" section.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to love your purchase! If you are not happy with your items then please contact me and I will work with you to figure out a solution.

Please specify the information that you would like printed on your stamp or stationery carefully, I will copy it exactly as you have written in. I will either issue you a refund or send a new product on any customization error made by myself, but I cannot issue refunds for mistakes made on your end. That said, if you make a mistake on your stamp or stationery customization and realize it after it arrives, please contact me and I will offer you a replacement at a reduced price.

If you do not receive your item after it is shipped within the time frame specified above, please contact me and I will work with you to figure out a solution. If you enter the wrong shipping address (this includes saved addresses in Etsy that are no longer current) and your product is not delivered to you or returned to me then I will offer you a replacement product at a reduced price.
Additional policies and FAQs
After your purchase I will send a proof to the email address listed on your account. Please approve this proof as soon as possible to ensure timely shipping. If you do not approve the proof by the time your order is scheduled to ship, as indicated on your receipt, I reserve the right to make your stamp and ship it without proof approval.

After purchase I am happy to send you up to 5 proofs if you need to see more options after the first proof.

Will I receive a proof/sample of what my custom item will look like?

Yes! We send proofs for every custom item, usually within 2 business days.

When will I receive this item?

Please refer to the "Shipping & Policies" tab on the listing to see the processing time. All items will be shipped with first class shipping unless you upgrade to priority when you check out. First class shipping usually takes 3-5 days to the USA or 2-6 weeks internationally.

Can the self inking stamps be refilled when they run out of ink?

Yes! I sell the refill ink in my shop under the "stamp pads/ink" section. Make sure you get the right size and kind for your stamp, contact me with questions.

Can you use my logo on a stamp or letterpress card?

Sometimes. I will need the file as a .ai or .eps file that is converted to outlines. I also need to see the logo first to make sure it will work well as a stamp/letterpress card. Some images with fine details and multiple colors will not work well. Please contact me for further information.

Can I see a proof before purchase?

Yes! Just click the "Ask a question" button at the top right of the page on the item you are interested in. Then send me a note with your request (including the information you would like on the item) and I will send you a proof.
