Yellow Heart Art was started by me (Leonora Jennifer) in January 2011. Ever since I was 2 feet tall I was constantly doodling on any surface that I deemed "doodle-able" (paper, coloring books, my bedroom door, the couch...)

I went to school for graphic design with the hopes of changing the world one pretty color palette at a time. When I graduated college I got a corporate job working as a graphic designer. I was happy to find a job that was in my field but was bummed out that I wasn't being that "creative".

I turned to Etsy and started my own little nook of art on here. I love the fact that I can be the "art director" from start to finish. I can create things right here from my heart. I stand behind all my art work 110%. I like coming up with wacky sayings for my prints because well, let's be honest, life is just was more fun when we get to look at our walls and laugh, am I right? All art is designed, printed and hand packaged by me in my studio on Long Island.
