Vintage Awesomeness at its Finest
Once upon a time there was a young girl who loved rhinestones and random oddities. Encapsulated by these things, she began to experience a magnet-like pull that beckoned her to explore all facets of the eras that preceded her existence. Her obsessions blossomed, and rarely a day would pass that she did not venture out into the world only to return home with three or four items thrice her age. As she grew, so did her collections. And with the growth of her collections came a desire to share her knowledge of their content's history with others. This was a thirst that could not be quenched by accumulation alone. No! To condemn these found treasures to shelves and jewelry boxes would be an injustice to home decorators and fashionistas everywhere! The stash needed to be re-birthed and passed on; the stories had to be retold to seasoned listeners and introduced to virgin ears! (That and she had some bills to pay). So, she opened an Etsy shop, called it Yesterday's Silhouette, and lived happily ever after.

Disclaimer: All vintage items should ALWAYS be handled with care!
Most items in this shop have been previously owned, and all are vintage. With this said, please understand that a certain amount of vintage wear is typical for such items. ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD "AS IS" unless arrangements are made for repairs or alterations. I do offer repairs on some items. It will be noted in these item's descriptions if repair/alterations are available. Please CONVO me for more details if interested. I have done my best to note in each item's description if there are any flaws beyond what would be considered “normal” for the item's age. To better identify the state of an item’s condition, please cross reference the item’s description to our condition chart below. I will happily provide additional pictures upon request to clarify the condition of any item.
ALL CLOTHING (hats excluded) HAS BEEN WASHED UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, and will arrive to you clean.
CONDITION CHART:
MINT-Like new or (vintage) new, AKA "new old stock". Still has tags, box, packaging, ect. No flaws.
NEAR MINT- No tags/packaging. No signs of wear or use. Original condition. Unblemished.
EXCELLENT- No noticeable flaws. Minor vintage wear that does not distract from the beauty or function of the item.
VERY GOOD- Normal vintage wear for the age of the item with small flaws noted in the item’s description.
GOOD-Numerous noted flaws that require easy repair. Normal vintage wear that does not hinder the function of the item.(Again, I do offer repairs on some items. It will be noted in these item's descriptions if repair/alterations are available, please CONVO me for more details if interested).
FAIR- Damged but still functional.
POOR- Badly damaged or beyond repair. Good for supplies/parts/upcycled art, ect.
STUDY/MUSEUM QUALITY- Item is no longer functioning as originally intended and/or has hidden flaws rendering it appropriate for display only.

NY shoppers please note an 8.125% sales tax is applied.
Shipping
Overnight shipping is available on MOST items. Please CONVO me for details. A $10 convenience fee will be applied to your invoice, PLUS the cost of overnight shipping.
In the USA: Please allow one - two weeks for delivery (though it usually takes much less).
Outside the USA: Please allow three weeks for delivery.
*Note to INTERNATIONAL buyers: Additional fees that may be charged at customs are the buyers responsibility.
I will ship all items within 7 business days of your received payment.
