Absolutely gorgeous!!! Yevgenia went above and beyond to help make my brother toasting glasses!!!! I am glass blower and wanted to make my brothers toasting flutes myself. after a shipping problem on my end, she got my glasses painted and shipped back in plenty of time for the wedding. I was also worried about the flower I requested being mistaken for another, but she made it perfect. I didn't really want to give them up. Thank you thank you! My brother and his wife absolutely loved them!! Honestly, I can not thank Yevgenia enough!!

It's absolutely beautiful! I bought this as a gift for my daughter's college roommate, and she loves it. The colors are bright and exactly as pictured if not better.

The Pursuit of Happiness

I am originally from Moscow, Russia, and lived in New York City for 22 years. For about 14 of those years, I worked in web and graphic design field in the corporate world. This forced me to put my fine art making on the back burner. But, I had a short stint of living and working in New England, which awakened something in me. I started sketching nature (something I hadn’t done before).

Until then, I was a full-fledged city girl, obsessed with architecture, cityscapes and straight lines. When I suddenly found myself enjoying all this natural beauty I translated the fascinating botanical wonders onto functional objects for my family and friends to enjoy.

I met my husband at the School of Visual Arts where we were both pursuing our Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees. Since then, we have been constantly bouncing creative ideas off each other. So much so, we joined forces and created CCYD Studio and this Etsy Shop.

When this Shop Story was first published I lived in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with my husband and our badass cat Kai. Since then our family has grown. We now have two amazing boys; Oliver & Fynn and we made the move (Oct.2015) to greener living in gorgeous Austin, Texas!

My hand painted fine artwares have been featured on, Apartment Therapy, Apartment Therapy's Re-Nest, Green Planet, the Pioneer Woman, Design Sponge, and Etsy's Wedding Event. I truly love what I do!

All my items are lovingly hand painted by me. This means there can be some minor differences between the pictures and the actual item. I try to keep these differences limited but the handmade nature of my items makes all of my items truly one of a kind.

I am a convo-friendly person. So don’t hesitate to write if you have any questions or requests or just want to say hello! It will put a smile to my face!
