I have a couple of degrees in music and many years in music ministry and education, though I am just beginning to learn to play harp. I bought this book on the strong recommendation of my teacher. While I am still working on the first lessons, I've looked ahead enough to appreciate its approach to sequential, progressive learning, as well as its foundation in both scriptural truth and use of sacred music. It is well written, beautifully illustrated, and its strong plastic binding means that it lays flat on my music stand and will not fall apart easily. 5 Strong Stars!

I love the book, so many wonderful songs and techniques with thorough explanations and pictures included to show hand position. Harmonics are included, which I had forgotten how to play and now I know how to do them again!:) Lots of glissandos practice included along with arpeggios. Thoroughly happy with my purchase!

Full of my favorites and at a level that I can play

This is a fabulous step by step learning book. A good addition to other self teaching harp books I have. I like that all exercises use hymns or praise tunes- some new ones written just for this course probably. It has some great arranging helps for the hymnal and take the student right up to intermediate level of harp playing! Nice quality book! Excellent resource! Highly recommended!

Great harp books!! Good addition to the other self teaching books I have. I like that this book includes 4 levels of harp arrangements for each hymn. Even beginners can praise the Lord with the harp! Those looking for something more challenging to stretch them will also be delighted. All the players in between have something to use too! Nicely planned out for class instruction, I will just use at home and work through each level as I improve my technique. Excellent resource! Good quality book! Highly recommended!
