5 out of 5 starsThis seller is amazing! The quality of the product is even better! We got this for our corgi/red heeler mix and it looks so perfect on him. Will add a photo when he’s still enough to get one!

5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely awesome design and craftsmanship. I love how customizable this is (size, buckle material and color, etc). Bracelet fit owners just right and matching collar was perfect for dog! Such a unique concept and recipients were very excited about it! Seller had great communication and cost was reasonable. Highly recommend and will be returning to seller to purchase other products!

Celebrating the Love for Our Best Friends of the Canine Variety
You Had Me at Woof began with my love for dogs. Actually, I adore dogs. They are the most special of creatures, in my book. My volunteer work at SQ Rescue (an animal rescue) in South Carolina inspired me to incorporate dogs into my work. While spending time with a Great Dane named Duke at one of their events, I formed a deep connection. “He was like an old soul. I felt so safe with him. I would have taken him home with me that day, but I lived in a shoebox of an apartment!” I have a background in classical academic painting, which eventually led me to begin designing dog collars. For my couture painted dog collars, I use a special paint that is lightfast, colorfast, and durable. The end result is a very durable work of art in the form of a dog collar. They can get sopping wet!
I want You Had Me at Woof to be a shop where customers can find something unique and special for their dog. I make everything by hand in my Georgia studio, using the the finest materials. I only make products that I feel good about using on my own dogs, and I hope that you will love and enjoy my products as much as I do. You Had Me at Woof was inspired by a the love of a rescue dog. I return the love by donating a portion of every order to dog rescue organizations, including Evelyn's Place Rescue (where we volunteer), Friends to the Forlorn, PETA, the ASPCA, the Humane Society, the Humane Society International, Takis Shelter, and the Soi Dog Foundation. Shopping at You Had Me at Woof should be a treat; I absolutely love the idea of a customer receiving their order and finding great joy inside of the box, like receiving a gift from an old friend.

Shipping
Each item is handmade (except for balloons) and may take up to 2-3 weeks (collars and leashes) to 2 weeks (neckties and bow ties, little dachshunds) to complete. Engraving adds an additional 5-7 business days. Multiple item orders will take longer to complete. Delivery times vary depending on destination. USA: 3-5 days. Canada: 1-2 weeks. Overseas: 2-4 weeks.
Domestic Shipping
Orders under 16 oz. will be shipped via First Class Mail. All orders over 16 oz. will be shipped via Priority Mail. Shipping prices include shipment tracking for domestic orders. I will not assume responsibility for lost or stolen packages after they are marked delivered.
Shipping Upgrades
Please contact me if you would like to upgrade to a faster shipping method. If your order will be shipped via FedEx or UPS, it will be delivered with no signature required, unless you specify otherwise.
Orders shipped internationally
Shipments to Canada or other International shipments will be shipped via First Class International mail. Since the cost of shipment tracking for international shipments is so expensive, I do not include this service for international orders. Please contact me if you would like to pay for this extra service. Because there is no way for me to track delivery on international packages, I will not assume responsibility for lost or stolen packages shipped internationally. I do, however, include the delivery confirmation number for the package as proof of shipment, so the item can be tracked while it is still in the U.S. I am not responsible for customs fees charged for packages delivered outside of the U.S.
Additional policies and FAQs
Collars will be shipped 2 collars per box, unless individually boxed collars are requested.
Collar Safety
Please note that if you have a large dog or a dog that tends to pull, we recommend an aluminum buckle, not plastic. In addition, we do not recommend walking dogs without a harness. Our dog collars are not a replacement for a harness and are not to be used solely for restraint. A collar being pulled on a dog's neck may damage their trachea. We are not liable for damages or loss resulting from the use or misuse of our collars, leashes, harnesses or any of our other products.
Engraved Buckles
Engraving orders will be engraved as submitted and will not be cancelled or refunded. If no font is specified for engraving, the font displayed on buckle in the original listing will be used.
Buckle Reuse Program
If you already have a You Had Me at Woof dog collar with an engraved buckle, and you would like a new collar with the same engraved buckle, you can send us the buckle, slide, and D-ring, and we will give you a discount on a new collar to be made with that hardware.
Balloons
Like other balloons, our balloons only stay filled with helium for a few days.

Sizing details
To find your dog's size, we recommend measuring around your dog's neck with a string, leaving two fingers of extra room, and then measure the string. Our small dog collars are sized a little differently than our big dog collars, due to the difference in buckle dimensions.
If you are unsure about which size to order, please feel free to contact us. We can also custom-size each collar for a perfect custom fit.

Grosgrain vs. Woven Trim Dog Collars
Our dog collars are made with either grosgrain trim or woven trim. Grosgrain trim is a polyester trim characterized by its ribbed appearance. Images are thermally transferred onto the trim, allowing for the tiniest of details to be captured in the design. Because it is so strong, grosgrain was traditionally used throughout history in the hems of clothing. It is also used in millinery.
Woven trim is also made from polyester. Woven on a loom, the design for this trim is incorporated into the weave. Because the designs are essentially made from fiber, there is some limitation on the size of the images being woven into the trim.
Whether you choose grosgrain or woven trim, both are extremely durable and offer superior fade resistance.
