Young Captive is a vintage shop that focuses on super wearable, basic items that will integrate seamlessly into a contemporary wardrobe. The shop runs on the belief that simple is best, and that the basic clothing items that can be worn time and time again are sometimes the most special.
I'm an illustrator with a soft spot for running small businesses. I do freelance work, sell my own stuff through shopfeverfew.etsy.com, run the e-commerce website stayhomeclub.com and, of course, curate / run Young Captive!

Accepted payment methods
CANADIAN CUSTOMERS - shipping cost varies to different locations in Canada. If I've overcharged you, the difference will be refunded to your Paypal immediately following shipment. Shipping within Canada usually takes under 8 business days and includes a tracking number.
AMERICAN CUSTOMERS - Estimated shipping time to the USA is 6 to 10 business days. A tracking number is ONLY included on heavier orders and this will be indicated in the listing. If you would like to pay a few dollars extra for tracking on any other item please let me know and I will happily make the change for you. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR LOST ITEMS IF TRACKING HAS NOT BEEN REQUESTED/PAID FOR.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS - I will ship anywhere worldwide. If your location is not listed for a certain item, please feel free to convo me and I will give you a shipping quote. Generally speaking, your parcel should arrive within 10 business days of ship date. Unfortunately due to high costs, international parcels do not include tracking.

Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds for American/Canadian customers due to parcels lost in the mail are ONLY available when a tracking number has been paid for.
Overseas customers will only receive refunds for lost items if they have not been received FIFTY DAYS after the ship date.
I am available to answer any and all questions before purchase.
Additional policies and FAQs
First time customers can reserve items for up to 3 days with no questions asked. If you require more time there is a $10 up front deposit that will later be subtracted from the price of your order.
Returning customers can reserve items for up to one week with no deposit.
I offer discounts on orders of 4 items or more. Please get in touch via convo to arrange a deal with me!
