The way to say hello.

hi note was founded in 2010 by the husband and wife duo, Michael and Erin Palermo. It started on a whim, with close friends requesting help designing their baby shower, wedding, and other special event stationery. The trend caught on, and they became overwhelmed with requests to utilize their design skills. That demand turned into a full-fledged graphics and stationery company, hi note. Now, going on their 6th year of business, the ever-expanding hi note team has produced branding, paper goods and countless other unique graphic elements for well over 300 clients, some having up to 30 unique projects for their event.

Welome to hi note's Etsy shop! We are pleased to be able to offer customizable stationery at a not-so-custom price to our buyers! We have lots of stationery designs to offer, so if you don't see something you like, please feel free to convo me about coming up with custom graphic pieces especially for you!

hi note gladly accepts PayPal or credit card via PayPal.

All listings for customized stationery are set up as a sample, deposit or full payment up front depending on the nature of the project. The deposit listing for the stationery you chose must be purchased before the design process will begin. Final payment will be made through a custom listing placed on Etsy especially for you. Once final payment is made, your order will be printed, processed and shipped to you.
Shipping
hi note carefully packages the invitations to ensure their safe arrival. If your order must be rushed, then additional charges will be added to your order to expedite the package.

All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Please be aware that shipping can cost can range greatly, depending on the size, weight, destination and how expedited the order is. hi note will make the buyer aware of shipping costs before anything is shipped.
Refunds and Exchanges
Since most of the items listed on the hi note Etsy page are customized, returns and exchanges are are generally not accepted. If there is an outstanding circumstance, hi note is willing to discuss the issue and settle on an agreement. There may be slight variances in color from computer screen to actual printed goods. This is completely unavoidable and can change daily on printing presses, so it is the responsibility of the client to provide hi note with specific pantone color matches or physical print out of the colors they desire if an almost-perfect match is necessary. The buyer may also request a printed sample at an additional cost. (Please note: Printed samples cannot always be provided - contact seller for more info.)
Additional policies and FAQs
ORDERING

What is the process for ordering invitations with hi note?

Step 1: Purchase the listing for the stationery you would like customized.

Step 2: Please indicate wording, color selections and any other pertinent details for your stationery in the "message to seller" box upon check out.

Step 3: You will be contacted within 24-72 hours regarding the information you sent to the seller to ensure all wording, coloring, etc is correct.

Step 4: Once payment has cleared, design process will begin. You will receive a digital proof of your stationery suite via email and up to 3 rounds of revisions. This will be the last chance for changes, proof-reading, etc. Buyer is responsible for the mis-spellings or error to any wording/content used in your design.

Step 5: Once final design is approved, any final billings must be paid and seller will go to press/production with your project.

Step 6: Invitations will be shipped between 4-8 weeks, depending on the size and
complexity of the order.


How many invitations should I order?
* I recommend ordering at least 10-15 extra invitations. Guest lists often change at the last minute and it's best to be prepared. Ordering extra invitations at a later date can be costly.
* Remember each couple should only receive one invitation ensemble.
* Proper etiquette says a single invitee should be allowed to bring a guest.

When should I place the order for my wedding invitations?
* I recommend ordering 4-6 months prior to your special event. Your order will take me 6-8 weeks to complete, depending on the size and complexity of the order.

What types of payment do you accept?
* Payment is accepted via credit card (outside of PayPal) and via PayPal.

I need my invitations in 4 weeks. Do you offer rush ordering?
* Time permitting, I offer rush ordering and all orders needed within 4 weeks may be subject to a rush fee.
* All orders are subject to material availability. The more time you give me, the greater the guarantee that your particular material will be in stock. In the event expedited shipping is required on materials, rush fees may be applied to your final payment due.

When should I send out the invitations?
* Invitations are commonly sent out 6-8 weeks in advance of your special event. I recommend that during the summer or holiday months, you give enough advance notice to your guests to schedule their vacations around your day.
* It is common practice to send out Save the Date announcements (typically 9-12 months prior to the event) if your wedding will be during busy months.


SAMPLES

If you desire to see a physical sample before purchasing a listing, we do offer existing samples for sale for some of our suites on etsy. Sample prices vary depending on the suite, so please convo us about the cost you would incur if you do not see a sample listing in our shop. The sample will not be customized to you. Only when a deposit is purchased, can a customized sample/proof be provided to the buyer (at additional cost).

ADDRESSES/ADDRESSING ENVELOPES

Addressing and Return Addressing of Envelopes (if not specified as included) are available with any of our suites. Please convo us for more info and pricing.

INVITATIONS

Will my invitations arrive fully assembled?
* If your invitations consist of backers, embellishments, wraps, etc, then Yes! Your invitations will arrive ready to mail.
* Your invitations will not be stuffed into your envelopes. All pieces will remain separate to ensure that you, as the buyer, can see each piece and know it is of sound quality.
* Your invitations will not come with postage. If postage is required on an item that must be assembled into a package, hi note will provide you with assembly/postage options before proceeding with assembly.

Can you create a design for me?
* Of course! I offer a service to my customers creating a one-of-a-kind invitation for your special event.
* The final cost of your customized invitation set will depend on materials and difficulty of your vision.
* If you give me a general theme and idea, I will work to create a special and unique invitation for you.
* Please note that I do require an initial 50% deposit and contract before creating a custom-from-scratch design.

How much postage will my invitation require?
* It is always recommended that you take an invitation to the post office to have them weighed and sized for postage, but generally an invitation postage stamp will do.
* Square shaped invitations always require extra postage.
* It recommend all handmade wedding invitations be hand cancelled. Contact your local post office for additional details.


SHIPPING

How do you ship the invitations?
* I carefully package the invitations to ensure their safe arrival using Priority Mail for samples/smaller packages and UPS for invitations and other suites.
* You are responsible for the cost of shipping. Please be aware that shipping can cost anywhere from $10-$50, depending on the size, weight and destination.
* Expedited shipping is available and will add to the total cost of shipping.
