Simple things are great!

It all started when I was a kid... My mom, to prevent me from fooling around, used to teach me how to sew, knit, crochet and embroider. I started creating cloth collections for my dolls when I was 9 years old.
Later, when I was a teenager I made cloth for myself. I find it very pleasant to be aware, that the clothing you wear is one of a kind. There was a period, when I fell in love with making sead beads jewelry. I even organized jewelry making master classes for my friends. We had our own small crafty community.

A few years ago I added felting and decoupage (or mod podging) to my hobbies. It was quite funny, because I had a decoration spree, and was constantly looking for objects to decorate.

For my 30th birthday I got a sewing machine (before I had to visit my mom and use her machine to create). That made me completely crafty free :)

How did this shop start? My boyfriend, Phil, who runs a label, asked me to create burlap CD sleeve designs for one of the albums he was about to release. From more than 20 sketches we chose four kinds of sleeves to make samples (you can find some of those sleeves in my shop now). When the sleeve samples were ready, we chose an envelope like sleeve for the album. Since burlap packaging was an experimental one, we decided to release the album in two different packagings: a traditional cardboard one and in a limited edition burlap form. After the release, according to online sales, we discovered that the burlap packaging was more successful because customers found it to be very interesting and unique. It was my first project and my first success and this encouraged me to open my own Etsy shop.

Currently I work full time in IT sales and part time as a crafter, creating unique packaging for labels, photographers and companies. I hope to become a full time crafter quite soon. Crafting gives me freedom, inspiration and makes time stop.

I constantly strive to provide my customers with an individual approach and good quality service. There are no limits for perfection though :)
