Living Jewelry
Living jewelry is an intimate keepsake that slowly evolves over time, with hearty species planted in one-of-a-kind capsules that are hand-formed and soldered from stainless steel, sterling silver, gold leaf, brass, and copper. Some components of my jewelry have been reclaimed from electric and aerospace salvage yards, completely deconstructed, reformed, and incorporated into the designs.
When you’re not wearing your plant jewelry, you can hang it sculpturally in a window and enjoy it year-round. They will survive many years if watered!
Other natural elements include butterfly wings, feathers, bones, milkweed pods inlaid with gold, and dried foliage that I've collected on hikes with my Giant Schnauzer, Grisby, in central Illinois. Feathers and wings are all ethically sourced.
Another staple design of Zanne Avenue is my hinged image cuffs. Any graphic or map location can be made into a custom cuff upon request.
With over twenty years of experience, I take great pride in exceptional craftsmanship and I value handmade, done well. I don't ship anything out unless it's perfect.

All Living Jewelry is shipped USPS Priority Mail.
