The fabric is thick and looks like it’ll hold up very well! The embroidered personalization gifts it an extra special touch! About Zeliecrafts
Zelie Crafts
Zelie Crafts is a place where the heart of a mother comes to life through the arts. Saint Zelie inspired the name as well as the business. She was a mother of nine children (two of her sons and two of her daughters died in infancy). I felt a strong kinship with Saint Zelie, as I am also a mother who has lost children.
As I continued to read more about her, I discovered we had even more in common. She was unable to breastfeed the majority of her children due to an underlying illness that would later turn out to be breast cancer. This would take her life at the young age of 45. I too have been unable to breastfeed my children due to underlying illnesses, both in myself and my children. She was also accustomed to chronic sleep deprivation. Functioning on 3 hours of sleep became my norm after having my first kid.
One of the many ways in which Saint Zelie and I differ - she is a Saint and I am not. Even during her trials she completely gave her heart and trust to God and never faltered in her faith. That's not me, but hopefully one day I'll get there.
Saint Zelie also owned a lace business and sewed lace until her death. It wasn't my original intent to sew or even start an Etsy shop, but once I started creating I couldn't stop and I felt an unquenchable desire to share these creations with others. I hope they will bring joy into your families homes and they have brought joy into mine.
