About

Zen Creations Jewelry

My love for making jewelry started when I was in college. From the moment I sat down with a saw frame and sheet metal I was hooked! I studied more jewelry fabrication and enameling techniques while attending Kutztown University, and then pursued a degree in Fabrication and Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology . Prior to starting Zen Creations, I worked as a bench jeweler for Paul Morelli in Philadelphia, PA. While I was there I had the opportunity to create and work on high end jewelry for various celebrities, tv, print ads and high end retailers.

I started Zen Creations Jewelry in 2004, shortly after my daughter was born and I was diagnosed with a chronic illness. I named the shop after my daughter, and she has been, and always will be, a major source of inspiration. My chronic illnesses have caused me to rethink the way I approach jewelry making, adapting over 20 years of experience into ways that are safer for my health. This challenge has pushed me to experiment, learn and create with different materials and techniques.
