All purchases made within Washington state will be charged 6.5% state sales tax.
All items are at the post office within 48 hours....that's the way I would want it.
Shipping costs are based on the weight of the item. I hate that it costs so much to ship heavy stuff, like coats, overseas... Domestic shipping prices are based on the furthest distance from me in Seattle. If you live closer, shipping will generally be less expensive. I will refund the difference over once the postage has been printed.
For US destinations I ship packages under 3lbs via Priority Mail, arriving in 3-5 days. Big stuff - coats, bulky sweaters - gets shipped using Parcel Post or FedEx ground, which is usually cheaper, but a couple of days slower. International destinations are shipped via First Class International Mail. This method only provides tracking through US customs. If you would like tracking on your international parcel it will need to be shipped Registered, which is an additional fee.
****International customers *** Unfortunately, I cannot be responsible for customs or postal delays within your country. Please be aware of the customs regulations for your country as additional taxes are duties within your country are your responsibility.
I cannot refund shipping if the package is undeliverable due to insufficient address.
For multiple purchases I will re-weigh and adjust shipping costs accordingly. If you require tracking, item will need to ship via UPS. Please let me know prior to purchase so that I can requote shipping cost.
All fragile items are shipped with copious amounts of nice, clean bubble wrap. The box may be bigger than you would expect, but your items will get to you safe and sound and in one piece.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please let me know if there is an issue as soon as possible. I cannot accept returns if you've had the item for more than two weeks.
Zest vintage sells only vintage items - I cannot be held responsible for any damage or deterioration that occurs after the receipt of your item.
Unfortunately, I cannot accept returns on items sold on layaway.
Party clothes purchased from November 20th through December 31st are not returnable.
Vintage garments have been worn and loved…most often discovered carefully stored away in an out of the way closet for many years. It is not uncommon for garments to show some signs of wear. I carefully inspect each garment to make sure that you get the most accurate and informed information. Most items have been cleaned, whether soaked and blocked by me or by a trip to the dry cleaner. There are times when i need to do a bit of mending - repair a broken zipper, replace buttons. If this is the case,I try to be as faithful to the garment as possible. Sometimes upon close inspection previous alterations are visible. I try to restore the garment to its original form when possible. Repairs are listed in the garment description.
Additional policies and FAQs
I can reserve items for you for three days. If you need an additional time, I request a 25% non-refundable deposit. Certain seasonal items might not be available for a reserve listing. Please do not reserve an item unless you are absolutely sure that you will purchase it...that's just not cool. Zest Vintage does reserve the right to refuse a reserve request.
